Sound quality is amazing, battery life is everlasting, and it’s as loud and as quiet as you need! I go lay out by the pool and take my speaker with me quite enough where I can have it next to me and it’s not bothering the people a few chairs down! I can even hear this when I vacuum lol And my vacuum is so loud! just 10/10!

App is neat and equalizer offers a few options but doesn’t seem to make any difference for me. No real bass. Overall an average speaker. I don’t feel like I’m getting 17hrs of battery life, but that could also be due to me using volume loud. I love Sony products, but for price point this one didn’t deliver and my own fault for settling.

There are third party apps that can do that for this speaker. We recommend our SRS-XG300 it supports sound quality setting and equalizer adjustment using Sony Music Center app. Bring the party with you and spread sound with the XE200 Wireless speaker. A line shaped diffuser and X-balanced speakers provide a wide sound stage, with powerful bass and richer sound. - A:Answer Hello Daddoo, Most soundbars are a closed system, meaning they only work with their brand. So no, these will not work with a Samsung soundbar as rear speakers. As the XE200 is Bluetooth only they will not connect to Sony soundbars as rears, for this, there are specific “rear” speakers. They can have the audio from certain bars transmitted to them via Bluetooth. This generally means all the audio comes from the connected speaker and not the bar anymore. Hope this helps, -Sam

We really appreciate you like the voice guidance function of your XE2000 speaker, where you can hear if there is a BLUETOOTH connection established between the speaker and the devices and remaining battery power of the unit. For charging the built-in battery of the speaker, the Battery Care mode option is available in addition to the normal charging method. Battery Care mode limits the maximum charge capacity to approximately 90% and makes the battery life last longer. The playback time available in Battery Care mode is shorter than the time available when the built-in battery is charged by the normal charging method. At the time of purchase, the speaker is not in Battery Care mode. You can place/bring the speaker into/out of Battery Care mode with “Sony | Music Center.” Also, by using “Sony | Music Center,” you can activate/deactivate the voice guidance associated with the remaining battery power that you hear when you turn on the speaker. For more information about Voice guidance and Built-in battery life of the speaker, please check the Help Guide of the unit found on our Sony Support Site.
