I was on the fence. Until I wasn't ..
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed.I got this 55" TCL Google TV as a replacement for the 55 " Hisense ROKU TV that I owned, The Hisense died while under my extended warranty plan. The TCL has a much better picture than the Hisense did but I honestly haven't figured out which platform I prefer. ( ROKU TV or GOOGLE TV ) Both of the TVs that I mentioned above were not BIG Money items, So I was expecting to get exactly what I had paid for. Neither of these TVs has Great or even Good sound for that matter. Overall the Picture on the TCL blows the Hisense picture out of the water. The TCL Google TV does come in handy. Especially when you're in an Android-based household like mine. The reason I made the remark about ROKU vs Google is due to the fact that I haven't dug into the Google section of this TV too deep yet. I dropped a star only due to the lacking sound on both TVs. I almost forgot, The TCL also has plenty of configurations as far as inputs go. Overall, this is a really good TV for the money Spent.
