The 2025 Hisense 55U65QF miniLED with FireTV is an incredible value. It sits in the 'Entry-Level" price range, but has a host of specs and features you'd only expect in more-expensive models. 600 local dimming zones, and peak brightness of 1,000 nits allow for excellent contrast in dark to moderately-bright rooms. We have it on a stand in our small den, and it has done well coping with two adjacent windows to its side, and one window behind it. The setup was very simple. Given the option to use the remote or our phones, we chose to use our phone. The TV was connected via our Amazon account within minutes, and it allowed us to 'mirror' apps we had previously downloaded to another FireTV in our household. The FireTV interface is simple, clean and intuitive. We started enjoying our favorite streaming services immediately. 4K 60FPS videos streamed with no stutter, blockiness or signs of compression. While the room we placed it in is relatively small, the sound produced from the speakers is loud and clear. The controller is very small and easy to use. If I have one suggestion for improvement of this model, it would be making the remote feel a little bit more sturdy/premium in the hand. We were able to do some console gaming at 120FPS, and the TV handled it beautifully. This would be an excellent television for any modern gamer to enjoy. The FireTV can also be controlled via the app on your phone/mobile device, or from any Alexa device connected to your Amazon account. It's really cool to be able to say "Fire TV On" and have it turn on from across the room, or to mute the TV with your voice when a phone call comes in! There are just so many features to explore on the 55U65Q, that I'd run out of space if I tried. For a buyer that wants higher-end features at a lower-end price point, I'd make this TV a top contender for your next purchase.

Background: We have a 50” TV in our bedroom that we mainly use for TV or movies before bed. It’s been decent but we wanted an upgrade to something bigger and brighter with a better picture quality. TLDR: This TV is good for the price. The picture is sharp and the colors were accurate. The speakers left a lot to be desired and didn’t deliver the sound quality I was hoping they would. Design: The TV was lightweight and thin which made it easy for me to unbox and hang it on the wall myself. The downside was when I was playing with it prior to mounting, the legs were too far apart for the TV to fit on the TV stand. That was a disappointing miss on the design. Picture: The picture was great, sharp, and colors were accurate. There was no noticeable motion blur during moving scenes. Brightness made it easy to see even in broad daylight. Sound: I was disappointed by the sound quality of the speakers. They were very focused on the high end and had no bass. It made watching movies feel very superficial and not at all immersive. Luckily, I have a sound bar that can easily address the shortcomings. Overall: I really like this TV for the amount we will use it. I’d reconsider the purchase if I had to rely solely on the built-in speakers but we won’t end up using them as it’ll be sound bar or even headphones mostly.

If you’re looking for a TV that provides excellent value and delivers awesome performance, the Hisense U6 is a solid pick. I am impressed by the colors and brightness. This TV performs well in bright areas, making it easy to watch in all lighting. The TV works really well in my covered patio. The picture is bright enough to combat the natural light that comes in during the day. In addition, the speakers on this TV are amazing. I usually need to add speakers, however I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and depth of sound on this TV. Setting it up was a breeze. I got the TV mounted to the wall, plugged in, and I went through a few quick items on the FireOS that is built into the TV. Other than logging into my streaming accounts, I was up and running in a few minutes. Given my use case, I am relying on streaming services to provide the content on the TV. The FireOS has everything I need and it is easy to navigate between the different apps using my voice or the remote. I am very impressed with the picture and sound on this TV and it represents a tremendous value. You get features that you’d expect from way more expensive TVs. I will strongly consider additional Hisense TVs in the future.
