After spending all that money on my previous TV it stop working after just 4 years. So, like all I needed a TV to stream and play my games and of cause Movie night is awesome. Like I said it works for me went and purchased another one for my bedroom.

Great TV for the price!

Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Picture, Price, Set upI Have owned this now for about 18 days. I have no regrets about buying it. I own a lg 4k tv i bought in 2017. The CPU (processor) in this tv is about 4 times faster then the older lg. The FireTV Operating system is great and not limited like the lg smart tv. Any app you cant find in the firetv store you can download and sideload it.. Watch youtube videos (how to sideload apps on a fire tv.) stick and tv are the same process. I play pc video games on this and the 4k hdr looks amazing. The text when hook up as a PC monitor looks pretty good. I have tested the power consumption on this Toshiba firetv with a kill o watt and the results are: With back light setting at 100% uses 158 watts With back light setting at 50% uses 88 watts With back light setting at 0% uses 40 watts Power off uses 12 watts I use the 50% setting as it is light enough and uses 70 watts less from 100% I think the power usage is pretty good for a tv this size 65' When you power the tv off it is really in standby mode for your tv powers up faster. If you want to shut it completely down plug it into a power strip and cut the power to the cord. To get to the backlight setting hold the home button (picture of house) down and the menu will appear bottom right and go to picture settings.

Great Budget TV! (Apple TV Works)
Posted .Features
Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Picture, Price, Set upGreat tv for the price, picture, colors and features will not disappoint. I use a soundbar but the speakers get plenty loud if needed. When watching anything in 4K you would think it was a high end tv. The low refresh rate is the only thing that might occasionally impact the quality but it’s not much. Apple TV worked for me after initial setup and software updates. Not sure why there is a review on here saying otherwise, both owner and chat support must have been mistaken. This TV is not 4 years old it is a 2019 model. Any compatibility issues may have been due to attempting to use the app before Apple released needed updates. There is info online that says the older fire stick/tv isn’t compatible but that is not the case for this model.

Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Amazon fire, Picture, PriceCons mentioned:Remote, Resolution, VolumeI bought this at Best Buy on Thanksgiving eve based on the performance of the 55” Toshiba Fire TV Edition they had on the sales floor. I’ve been using a Firestick 4K with a Recast DVR and a rooftop antenna for over a year and I like the Amazon Firestick platform. I did some Googling after purchase and learned a few things: Toshiba has not manufactured TVs in years. This television was made by a Taiwanese concern in association with Best Buy and Amazon’s Fire TV developers and branded Toshiba to signal that it is higher spec than Best Buy’s value in house brand, Insignia. The LCD display is very bright with excellent blacks and no leakage. The direct back light gives a very bright picture which needs to be turned down for dark room viewing at night. Straight on, the picture is excellent. The off angle viewing, however, is not. Colors start to shift as soon as you move to either side. The audio system out of the box is set to DTS encode with dialogue enhance turned on and sounds awful. After digging in to the settings and turning those off, it sounds okay. One thing to note is that “Audio Muxing,” enabled by default, strongly affects the sound quality and cannot be turned off from the home button quick menu. The design of the audio amp is a bit off — the volume slider is badly coded, quickly driving the included speakers into distortion to deliver an impression of “loud” performance. The set’s 4K resolution at 65” revealed defects in my Fire TV Recast that I had not noticed on the 55” HD LG television that I was using before. I learned that the Fire TV Recast downsamples everything — OTA and recordings — to 720p. Transferring the stream over WiFi further downsamples content, the result of which, upscaled and displayed at 2160p, is a fuzzy, blotchy mess. Attaching the Toshiba TV to the Fire TV Recast through my gigabit ethernet switch improved the picture. 1080p video off steaming services is excellent and I look forward to seeing some 4K HDR content when I can. The included remote is similar to the standard Fire TV but not the same. The location of the return, home and menu button are changed. There are five non-standard buttons, four for direct connection to streaming services and one that has a pictogram of a television with rabbit ears whose purpose I do not understand. There are menu options to pair a Fire TV remote but I was unable to pair the remote that I was using with my 4K Firestick. I plan to purchase another regular Firestick remote from Amazon. The system case is attractive, sturdy and sports a slim bezel. Overall, good for the price.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:PriceAbsolutely love my new TV. The Superbowl will be streamed in 4K and will be glorious. TV is well worth the money. No extra cords needed since fire TV is built in. Can watch OTA uncompressed video from outdoor HDTV amplified antenna. No complaints so far. Trust me I don't normally write reviews.

Can't believe the quality of this TV for the price

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Amazon fireGranted I own a 2018 P-series Vizio and initially comparing these two I thought would be more apples and oranges. However, after watching both TV's at length I can't tell the difference. Honestly, the fire tv might be better because the actual TV speakers are better than the vizio's. If I learned anything I would say make sure if you are in the market for a fantastic tv and more than likely below the $350 mark you're not gonna find a better tv. Just because a TV is $1000 doesn't mean its better than one for $350.
