Can't believe the quality of this TV for the price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Granted I own a 2018 P-series Vizio and initially comparing these two I thought would be more apples and oranges. However, after watching both TV's at length I can't tell the difference. Honestly, the fire tv might be better because the actual TV speakers are better than the vizio's. If I learned anything I would say make sure if you are in the market for a fantastic tv and more than likely below the $350 mark you're not gonna find a better tv. Just because a TV is $1000 doesn't mean its better than one for $350.

Great TV for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Have owned this now for about 18 days. I have no regrets about buying it. I own a lg 4k tv i bought in 2017. The CPU (processor) in this tv is about 4 times faster then the older lg. The FireTV Operating system is great and not limited like the lg smart tv. Any app you cant find in the firetv store you can download and sideload it.. Watch youtube videos (how to sideload apps on a fire tv.) stick and tv are the same process. I play pc video games on this and the 4k hdr looks amazing. The text when hook up as a PC monitor looks pretty good. I have tested the power consumption on this Toshiba firetv with a kill o watt and the results are: With back light setting at 100% uses 158 watts With back light setting at 50% uses 88 watts With back light setting at 0% uses 40 watts Power off uses 12 watts I use the 50% setting as it is light enough and uses 70 watts less from 100% I think the power usage is pretty good for a tv this size 65' When you power the tv off it is really in standby mode for your tv powers up faster. If you want to shut it completely down plug it into a power strip and cut the power to the cord. To get to the backlight setting hold the home button (picture of house) down and the menu will appear bottom right and go to picture settings.

Great 65" Fire T.V.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love my new TV. The Superbowl will be streamed in 4K and will be glorious. TV is well worth the money. No extra cords needed since fire TV is built in. Can watch OTA uncompressed video from outdoor HDTV amplified antenna. No complaints so far. Trust me I don't normally write reviews.

Too many bugs
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to wait 6 months before writing a review. To sumarize, the purchase was disappointing. The TV in itself is fine. Good picture quality, but nothing out of the ordinary. In accordance with the price. The problem has been the Fire TV portion. Until last month when we paused on Netflix, HBO and other streaming services, the volume would shot up upon restart. It was not only annoying, but it could have possibly damaged my external speakers. Now all of a sudden I started getting a "critically low in storage" error, which interrupts whatever we are doing and won't go away. You have to go to Remove App and return. Which makes it impossible to watch anything on TV. And that's because we only have a handful of apps installed. We are not heavy users at all. Plus, even though the warning says we need to have 500MB free, when I go to my storage info it shows 1.26GB free. Go figure. I searched online and all I could find was to reset to factory defaults. So yay for having to reconfigure everything.

Toshiba 65" Fire TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Toshiba 65" Fire TV works seamlessly with my Amazon Echo Plus. Control volume, change channel, search for any movie by title, actor, or genre or change input with included Fire remote and voice. Got the 55" model last Christmas, more than satisfied. Paired both with a digital antenna and cut the cable- I get 128 local digital/analog channels- free. Plus I can surf the net via tv. My Prime membership gets me Prime video/music, Netflix, Showtime, plus I get Pluto, IMDb, Shutter, CNN/CBSn, about a dozen sports channels, etc (too many "apps" to list). More than worth the less than $600 price! Bluetooth wireless too for added connectivity

||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I refused to buy expensive TV’s after what happened to my old Samsung TV. If this goes out I won’t feel upset! After spending all that money on my previous TV it stop working after just 4 years. So, like all I needed a TV to stream and play my games and of cause Movie night is awesome. Like I said it works for me went and purchased another one for my bedroom.
