Our 15 years Whirlpool needed to be replaced. Did not have time to do as in depth research as normal and there was limited inventory Best Buy. Based on the reviews this model was the best choice out of what was available.
For a dishwasher it works as it should but their needs to be a program upgrade. If you want your items dry you have to select, heated dry. With that being the case, it should default to 'heated dry' when you select a cycle. if you forget to engage the option you cannot enable it again unless you do a quick cycle. You also need to use the rinse aid as well. the fill level is hard to read on this model for the rinse aid, unlike my previous unit. Also the silverware basket should be divided into 1/4 to allow the placement of silverware which does not match up to the very narrow grid. We also wipe the off our dishes and dinner ware before placing into dishwasher since we run the unit about twice a week, no need for it to harden and become a biology experiment while in the dishwasher.
A:AnswerI had the issue before using the drying agent, but not since. I’ve heard some drying agents work better than others. I use only Jetdry. I also typically start the dishwasher just before bed or before I go to work so maybe I give them more time to dry. On the rare occasion that I empty right after it finishes, I typically put top rack, mostly plastics on a towel to dry while I put everything else away. The water usually evaporates by the time I’m done with the others. Hope it helps.
A:AnswerYou should DEFINITELY call Best Buy and ask them. Be advised that you will not only need the braided water cable and power cord (these do NOT come with the dishwasher, as we discovered today when it was delivered!), you will ALSO need to purchase a "3/8" compression by 3/4" hose fitting with a 90° elbow". That's straight from the installation instructions. I had to go to my local hardware store to get the 90°, because the delivery guy told my wife "everything you need is in the box". It most definitely was NOT. It should be cheaper to get these from your local hardware store. .
