A: If you're referring to the fact that this washer doesn't have a drainage hose in the lower front panel to drain water build-up every month or so, I may be able to answer your question. I was just at Best Buy today and the sales guy explained that this machine has a built-in pump to get rid of any residual water that accumulates at the bottom.
Q: Please tell me about the pre-soak. Does it drain after the allotted time? Can you add bleach.
A: Hi Otto, you can add a Presoak time of your choice to awash cycle. Items will gently tumble through the detergent and water for the selected time to help loosen tough stains. We would not recommend using bleach for this cycle.
Q: Can it heat up the water to the desire temperature with only cold water fill?
A: The washer was designed to have both Cold & Hot water inputs. Without the hot water input the washer will go in trouble mode. You can put cold water to both Hot and Cold water inputs and the heating element will heat the water eventually but the heating element was designed to maintain the temperature not to make the water hot.
