• Hi Otto, you can add a Presoak time of your choice to awash cycle. Items will gently tumble through the detergent and water for the selected time to help loosen tough stains. We would not recommend using bleach for this cycle.

• It does drain after pre-soak is done and yes you can add bleach anytime since the door does not lock.
