Graphics: The graphics are a huge step up from last years it is a beautiful game to look at. Gameplay: There aren't many changes gameplay wise compared to last years but the reversal system is broken and the carry system is also glitchy as heckl there are also a fair few bugs with the new 8 man matches. Game modes: Universal mode has been ignored almost completely it's very lazy of 2k to ignore it. Career mode has improved slightly you're not fighting Barron Blade all the time but it becomes boring after 30 minutes and the promos are awful despite there being more dialogue options. The Creation suite is probably one of the main reasons to buy the game it has an overwhelming content you can create any superstar/diva you want accurately and attires. overall, if you're wrestling fan and a fan of 2k wrestling games it's probably worth picking up but for those who loved the THQ wrestling games while this game is better than last years entry, it still has a lot of problems and is still in need of a massive upgrade.

      Loot Crates, Really?

I probably spend most of my time in the WWE 2K series in the MyCareer mode. This year they added some new features like being able to roam around backstage. It controls and feels clunky. They also made the game into a lootcrate-fest, locking away most clothes and moves into randomized loot crates. Good luck unlocking the one thing you like because there's hundreds of other stuff you might get instead. It's like they planned on implementing micro-transactions but got rid of it at the last minute (That may be the case, I didn't follow the development and release of the game). Game would be much better without this weird loot crate system.

This is by far the most beautiful WWE game ever, and biggest roster to date. Some awesome tweaks in game play to make the matches seem more life like... but the Career mode leaves much to be desired and the new RPG features of being to navigate through backstage areas and have terribly written conversations with wrestlers (and running be seriously slow and take forever to do said tasks) are quite annoying. With such a rich library they should easily be able to bring back showcase features from a few games back but oh well

I buy WWE games every year, and for some reason 2K seems to change something every year and sadly this leads to a somewhat disappointing experience. The game takes forever to load, on a PS4 Pro, and loads every time you do something in the Career Mode. I played 3 matches in almost 3 hours, between loading screens, boring conversations (which involve only reading, no voice acting), and walking around an empty backstage area. I feel the game could really improve on this part.

The game is good, the new graphics engine is great. But the core gameplay is the same with some decent new additions such as the carry system. The overall audio is still pure trash...2K really needs to go to the shows and record, they need to find a way to do commentary some justice....they have a foundation laid out right now for this series to be a must play for everyone again (back to the days where even non-wrestling fans played these games) they just need to do some deeper tweaking.

I enjoy playing as my favorite "WWE Legend" wrestlers, but you have to use VC points to "purchase" / download them. It takes awhile to earn VC. You can also download other user created wrestlers, but a lot of them require you having certain "WWE Legends" downloaded before you can download the user created custom wrestler. Again, it takes a long time to earn enough VC to get those wrestlers. Other than that the game has great graphics, good game play, and is an overall great game.

The game is what makes wwe games fun. It’s challenging and inovative with new styles of offense and better reversal system as well as overall better gameplay. The only thing I don’t like is how the older games actually had voices of the characters in game in their storylines. This does not. Also, the free roam backstage and choosing what your character says makes it more relatable to the person actually playing the game.

This is a good game, but it could so much be a great game. The potential is there and it’s kind of a let down, knowing how great this game could be. There are plenty of modes and things to do. But if you’re buying this game for MyPlayer, it’s a hit or miss. The career is very short and once it ends, there is not really any point to keep playing, other than increasing your players skills. Overall good game, just not great
