Q: How much storage capacity does the S380 have?
A: The S380 HomeBase (HomeBase 3) has a built-in storage of 16 GB eMMC, which can store up to 2 months of video recordings for a system with one camera, or 1 month for a system with two cameras (assuming 30 motion detections per day with 60-second recordings each time). Additionally, it supports expandable storage through an external hard drive with a SATA interface, allowing you to add up to 16 TB of storage space. When expanded, the video recordings will prioritize the hard drive storage, and recordings will only use the built-in storage when the hard drive is full.

Perfect match! Love the security (no cloud/flock) and video quality. The package delivery view is a nice touch. Haven’t tried the AI features or web interface yet - will do when I have time and post the results.

I switched from a Ring Video Doorbell Gen1 and the Video quality is significantly better. I especially like the camera that points towards the ground for when packages are left at the door. I switched from Ring to get away from the yearly subscription and with the Eufy HomeBase I have free local recordings instead of paid Cloud storage from ring. I plan on buying more Eufy Camera's to expand in the future. Only real complaint is no Widgets for my phone like the Ring camera's have. I hope they add them in the future.

Got rid of Ring and bought this Eufy E340 and homebase combo. I like that i can save all videos recorded to a local hard drive and not have to pay for cloud storage. I had some old spare 2.5” ssds and the homebase formatted it without issue. I did have to purchase and install a 30VA doorbell transformer because my previous one didn’t generate enough power to keep the battery from draining even though it was hardwired.
