It removes gases and odors. This model does not feature a heat function. Our purifiers and fans do not have refrigerants, so they are not an air conditioner but do work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air. It is our quietest purifier which is acoustically engineered to produce less noise. With the Night mode feature that’s 50% more quieter than any other Dyson purifier. Formaldehyde is a potentially harmful gas released by some furniture, paints, glues, carpets and fabrics so it is Fully sealed to HEPA H13 grade to trap pollutants inside, removing them from the air you breathe. Giving you reassurance that what goes inside, stays inside. It auto detects and destroys the harmful Formaldehyde fumes present in the air.
