Customers value the Gallery 24" Top Control Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher's quiet operation and excellent cleaning performance. They also appreciate the stainless steel tub and the dishwasher's sleek appearance, but some have noted concerns regarding the rack design and the product's long-term reliability. A few customers mentioned challenges with installation.
We were recently faced with having to replace our 15 year old dishwasher. With everyone in the family working, having a dishwasher is absolutely necessary. We looked around, did our online comparisons regarding price, function, look and product/company reliability. We ultimately settled on this Frigidaire 24'' Built-in Dishwasher! We have had it in use for a couple of weeks now and felt we had to share our experience. The installation went so smoothly! The unit popped right in to the old dishwasher’s space without any alterations or adjustments needed, something we had worried about. Once we figured out how to get it running, the dishwasher performed beautifully. This unit requires that the door be open while you make your wash selections (it took a bit of experimenting to figure that out). This model is stainless steel and has a very sleek and clean look to it and the unit itself is very ruggedly built. The door and body are very solid, which is probably why it is so amazingly quiet when in operation! Our old dishwasher used to drown out all conversation but this unit was so quiet, we weren’t even sure it was running at first. We love the space and layout of the three racks, one of which is the top tray for those awkwardly large utensils (like spatulas, salad spoons, etc.). This option is great because you don’t have to take up dish space for them leaving you more room for the really important things to be washed. The two lower trays hold a large amount of dishes, pans and glasses. It also delivers a very powerful cleaning! There is no need to pre-rinse any of the dishes as this unit has a “surge” option that really packs a punch when it comes to cleaning heavily soiled dishes. There are a couple of things that we think could be better. Even though the unit is very sturdy, we found the dish racks, which are a very lightweight plastic, to be flimsy feeling. The silverware tray, which is removable in case you need more space for dishes, does not do a very good job of separating the silverware and the shorter utensils can get wedged in the side openings of the tray (see picture). One last issue is with the drying feature. It does not get the dishes as dry as we had hoped even while using the "Heat" option. Overall we really like it and highly recommend it!

Good dishwasher, seems to be working well. Install was a little work, I needed to make the opening bigger by a quarter inch. Need to purchase elbow fitting for the water line and new electrical cord for the power supply.

Best Buy installation of this product was horrific. First time the installer came it took him 2.5 hours and he charged us $45 for an adapter only for the dishwasher to not work when he was done. Then he came back over 2 weeks later to install a new machine. This time he installed it so it hit my countertop every time it opens or closes and is crooked. He damaged the countertops in the process. Then we tried to use it and it leaked. We had issues with the refrigerator too and ended up deciding to return everything to deal with a local company that would actually provide decent service.
