    • Hard Food Disposer: false (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Condenser drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

Q: Does this dishwasher have a heating element?

A: Hi Gary, thanks for your question. Our dishwashers use a condensation drying process; this process uses the heat and steam built up during the wash cycle to dry the dishes.

Q: How do you engage and disengage the child-lock?

A: Hi, thanks for your question and interest in model # SHE41CM6N. As outlined in the Use and Care Manual, the button lock feature is designed to prevent accidental or incorrect operation of the appliance while it is running. To activate the lock, simply press and hold the key symbol for approximately three seconds. Once activated, the button lock will remain engaged and automatically deactivate at the end of the cycle. If you need to deactivate the lock manually, press and hold the key symbol again for approximately three seconds.

Q: Bosch 100 series dishwasher dishes won’t dry. What am I doing wrong

A: Hi, thank you for your question. We're sorry to hear about the poor drying results, and our team would be happy to help troubleshoot this. Connect with the Bosch team directly for assistance. Thank you.

Q: What is the cost for installation?

A: Hi, thank you for your question. For questions specific to your dealer, we encourage you to work with Best Buy directly. Thank you!

Q: Which country was this product manufactured in?

A: Hi, thanks for your question. Our parent company, BSH Home Appliances, has a global network of manufacturing facilities from which Bosch products are engineered and built. With few exceptions, the majority of Bosch products for the North American marketplace are manufactured in our facilities in New Bern, North Carolina and La Follette, Tennessee. Quiet and Clean

Like this dishwasher because it is so quiet but a bit more technical than I like. Cleans well but has 2 utensil holders that seem to wobble around. I prefer for the door to stay cracked open when not in use to minimize mildew smell, but this is a heavy door that insists on closing.

Good performance despite strange design choices.

Very quiet machine! Fits a lot of dishes, but weirdly traps soap against the door from the auto dispenser if there’s a cutting board or larger pan in the one place it will fit. My second Bosch, and it’s odd that the top shelf supports were changed to make it easier for bowls to tip and hold water during a wash cycle. Generally we can work around these things and still get great performance. I do wish I had gone with the third rack option instead of saving 200-300 dollars.
