  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: true (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)
    • Operating Sound Level: 46 decibels adjusted (Today's appliances are pretty quiet. To get a sense for how quiet you'll need, think about having a conversation in the same room. Choose from Not as Quiet (56 dBA or higher. You'll likely need to raise your voice); Quiet (50-55 dBA. Need to raise your voice slightly); Very Quiet (43-49 dBA. • Delay Start: true (Allows you to program the appliance to automatically run at a later time. This feature helps you coordinate with your household’s water needs, noise preferences, and more. Additionally, operating your appliance during off-peak hours may reduce energy costs.)
    • End-Of-Cycle Signal: true (An audible alert and/or visual indicator that notifies you when a pre-selected cycle is complete.)
    • Cycle Status Lights: true (Lights on the control panel that indicate which cycle is in use and/or its current status. Know when to unload with a simple glance.)
    • Child Lock: true (Setting that allows appliance to be temporarily locked to prevent use.)
    • Filtered Water: true (Internal water filter(s) remove minerals and chemicals from hard water before the wash cycle. Filtered water is less likely to leave mineral deposits or stains, meaning your dishware will look cleaner for longer.)

    • Steam Cleaning: true (Wash cycle that primarily uses steam to loosen food debris and clean fragile dishware without force.)
    • Steam Pre-Wash: true (Loosens food debris by creating steam inside the washer before the primary wash cycle, allowing for an easier, gentler clean of dishware.)
    • NSF-Certified Sanitization Cycle: true (Meets the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) standards for performance and cleaning effectiveness. Q: GE GDT665SGNBB - Can you select the washer settings on top of the door while it is open and then have them automatically activated upon closing of the door ? Thank You...

A: Absolutely! The cycle can be selected with the door open. Then just press Start and close the door within 4 seconds and the dishwasher will take care of the rest. Thanks for stopping by and keep in touch!- John@GEAppliances

Q: Is the middle rack removable? If not, what is the maximum distance that we can get between middle rack's tallest height setting and lower rack? I am trying to see if I can fit 25" sink rack for washing. Thanks for replying

A: Hi Girl - Thanks for considering GE! The adjustable middle rack is not designed to be removed except by a technician. You have about 13.5" between the lower and middle rack if you're at the edges of the rack, but because of the spray arm under the middle rack, you have about 12" clearance. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue

Q: hi does this open with a handle? or is this flush on the front

A: It is flush with the front. You reach under the co trol panel and pull the front door towards you.

Q: Is the glasses rack adjustable?

A: Yes. A release button on each side of the shelf.

Q: Thank you for your response. Is this model fits into my kitchen? I can go max height 33.5. Please let me know.
