Q: can this be hooked up in a car for daily use

A: Absolutely, it will work in any 12V vehicle, but, as with alot of amps, you will want to check all the specs to make sure its the right one for you. it doesnt have adjustable crossovers so that could be a problem depending on your speakers or what source unit you are using
