A: AnswerYes. Each camera has a mount and an additional bracket so you can mount them in either of two planes. The directions are acceptable and easy to follow. Screws are included but they are not very robust. Recommend you drill pilot holes if you mount the cameras in materials such as hardy-board or cement siding and maybe using different screws.Answered by Bruce
- A: AnswerI'm assuming when you say multi-pack you're referring to a 3 pack or more and wanting to split them with your sister to install at a seperate residence? If that's the case then you would have to purchase an additional "sync module 2" for your sister to be able to connect her share of cameras via wifi to. Each sync module can connect a max of 10 cameras (Hence if you want to buy let's say a 5 pack and you gave your sister 2 of the 5 cameras then you could run your 3 cameras with the provided sync module [included in multi-packs] but the remaining 2 cameras that are gifted to your sister would have to be ran on a seperate sync module that she would have to install at her residence for her personal alarm system. Both of you would be able to view each others clips (videos) and live feeds remotely once you link your devices [phone, tablet, laptop] to each respective sync module/alarm system for wach residence. To ensure you get the motion notifications you want, keep the following in mind when choosing the location of your Outdoor 4: The best motion detection occurs when movement goes across the field of view. Motion directly toward, or away from, the camera can be harder to detect. Avoid mounting near bright light flashes, swaying tree branches, or random activity such as passing vehicles. Don’t Blink or you will miss it !
ALL of the Blink stuff I have ordered is getting this same review. After doing an insane amount of research for a home security camera system I settled on Blink for ease of set up and cost. In both of those areas there really isn't a close second. As far as reliability, I'll check in again in a year or two--but other reviews indicate reliability is good. So, good news: easy set-up, great prices, video quality is as good as any, motion sensors and other software adjustable stuff is easy to understand and do. Bad news: The system is a little slow. I knew that going in, so it might be a bigger deal to you. I'm willing to live with it mostly--down the road I plan to put in a much faster, wired, real time system with only one or two cameras, and Blink has a new "Sync Module" that is supposed to have greater range--and maybe speed things up a bit. It has notified me of low batteries a few times--so now I just let it go and they seem to recover on their own. I've also had one or two go offline and I had to reinstall them. I think there are two factors causing this, and again for the price I am willing to live with it. For one thing I have the wireless range maxed out even with an extender for my WiFi network. The other factor is it is currently the dead of Winter and cold beyond all reason. 9 degrees last night, high is 31 today. Lots of snow and wind, too. I'm harder to get along with in this weather myself, so I'll put up with some additional problems with electronics that live outside. Bottom line? After three months I'm happy with it and I recommend any and all of the parts of the system I've bought. It works as advertised and it's way cheap--including the annual subscription if you want cloud storage. I will be buying a couple more pieces soon. Good Cameras!
These cameras are pretty simple to set up. The app is also user friendly. You do have to make sure you have a strong wifi signal for the cameras or else they become very laggy. I would recommend these cameras for when youre not home. These cameras arent meant to be constantly recording since they are battery operated, it would drain your batteries very quick. Other than that, i like the motion detection feature.

Works as described, not disappointed at all.
I already own another Blink device for my front door, had some kids messing with our back yard so we decided to get another cam. This product works as described, the process of adding it to the app and getting it ready was as simple as 1,2,3. I my self am very happy with it.
