Q: How do I get the magnets to work to hold tablet in place?

A: To attach the case on your tablet I put my tablet flat on my desk and lined up the snaps (magnets) and press down hard, not so hard that you break the tablet though. Even though they say they are "magnets" there more like snaps. I had to press a little harder then I wanted to, but once on they stay on really good.

A: No it will not, I bought it because it was suggested that it would fit when I bought the Tab A book but I have to return it. Make sure the book cover is also for the Tab A. I didn't realize that was what had to match.

A: No it is a different size. This is planned obsolescence. They do not make a 10, I believe. only 9.7,,,,

Where's the Protection?
I bought my tablet and case during the same visit. The Samsung rep at the store assisted me in locating the tablet, then recommended this case for it. I saw that the case was made by Samsung, so I thought it would be a perfect fit. The case is a wrap-around style with the magnetic cover that causes the tablet to wake up. It fit well, but it's overall lack of functionality left me very disappointed. There is nothing to secure the tablet in the case... As soon as the case is opened to access the screen, the tablet just tumbles out. Even with the case closed, the tablet would partially slip out, exposing it to possible damage. I also was never able to figure out how to use any of the stand positions. I do not recommend this product and am surprised that the Samsung name is on it.

Basic elegant cover
One of the Galaxy Tab S2 main features is its light weight and this cover won´t ruin it. Doesn´t add bulk at all and has the perfect fit. It will provide protection and grip to a certain basic level so you will have to define your needs and decide. Great elegant design and feel in the hand. It covers the On/Off button and the Volume rocker and leaves the speakers, the 3.5mm jack and the micro USB port uncovered.

Must have for Samsung Galaxy S2 Tab
Love my light weight S2 9.7 Tab but it seemed it might be too easily damaged without the cover. The cover is so well designed. I love how it functions. Easy to hold. Can still take photos. Serves as stand. Puts tab to sleep when closed. It is, however, hard to attach. Like other reviewers I took it to the store where a Samsung tech attached it for me. Once attached there is no reason to ever remove it.
