This by far is my favorite. Its the quietest just overall the nicest one so far. Bought one as a gift. So many great details. I was able to bake 4 cookies for a quick snack from some Otis Meyer cookie dough and it was pefect. I bought the kabob accessory and am very happy with the whole system. I love that you have a viewing window and a light that you can turn on or off at will. I can cook raw frozen shrimp in it for 2 people per batch and they come out crispy and not over done. With or without the shell. Can't say enough about how pleased I am with this Crux purchase !

The special silicone molds for your food is a game changer. Cleaning is a breeze because of it grease doesn't stick on it like the traditional trays. This air fryer stays really clean. Our last air fryer had a dial, so at first we were reluctant to give that up. The sales associate recommend this and the presets make cooking a breeze! Our food comes out way better than our last air fryer.

It has a light and a glass window which is a nice complement to see whats going on or if you need to adjust the settings without having to open the tray. The air fryer is not to loud and can still hold a conversation near it. Only gripe is that it is Marsmellow collab yet no cool jingle or beat when things are done or when you hit the buttons. My rice cooker has a better completed noise. I just think a good opportunity was missed here. Other than that, solid addition to the kitchen. Happy with our purchase. Best buy thank you for always having the best deals!

- A:Answer I believe that there is some confusion here. The crisper tray is the metal part, with openings in it, that is suspended from the bottom of the basket. This allows for cooking, air circulation, and dripping of fat down into the basket, from which it can be poured out after cooking. The orange part (silicone, not rubber) allows for cooking something that you would NOT want to drip down to the basket, like eggs, while still providing a non-stick, easy clean surface,

Q: QuestionCan I bake a cake in the fryer?

- A:Answer Technically you can, but I wouldn't recommend it. An air fryer is essentialy a convection oven. Meaning it cooks food by circulating hot air around. This would make a very dry cake. You can wrap things in foil before placing them in, to lock in moisture, but I wouldn't reccomend baking a cake in it.

Q: QuestionIs it supposed to make sound when running? When we first started the oven it made a loud sound like a fan blade hitting something, then we’re heating up some pizza and it’s super quiet now… no real sound at all.

- A:Answer If there is no sound whatsoever, chances are that the fan is not turning, which it is supposed to. If it is still under warranty, I would suggest you return it for exchange, credit or cash.

- A:Answer The tray isn't coming out on its own. You really have to mash it to the bottom of the basket. Thankfully there is a nice center handle to get it back out.

- A:Answer The question is actually a bit more complex than what you stated, so the answere is as well. The problem with these basket-type air fryers is that you can really only cook one layer's worth of food at one time. More than that and you lose the speed advantage and may need to increase the temperature, plus you get irregular cooking results, which is only partly compensated for by tossing/flipping the contents.
