A: I have a GE Profile electric dryer and I hate it. I noticed if I use the timed setting that very frequently it will say vent blocked. The dryer is 7 months old. Even after all the ducts and dryer is cleaned of any lint, it will still do it off & on. You can clear the vent blocked by running on the “normal” cycle with ecodry. It clears in 3-4 mins. I wonder if GE has this programmed because they want you to use ecodry setting which is horrible. I’m assuming Ming that setting uses less electricity. I use timed dry and that’s when vent blocked happens. Anyway you look at it, this is the worst dryer I have ever had. It takes forever to dry things completely compared to any other dryer I’ve had. Do yourself a favor and buy another brand!

Way better
So far so good, our previous drier was a samsung and drying towels just took over an hour and a half, this new one with slightly under an hour gets the job done
