The washer works well and quickly. Watching through the lid is cool but it makes me wonder if the tub is filling up with enough water. The water line doesn't get over the clothes. My research on the dryer showed many complained that with the sensor on the clothes remained damp. That happened to me first use. My wife had to run it 3x to fully dry a load of sheets and towels. The solution was to turn off the sensor, still use medium heat but set the other dial to very dry. Both machines are quick and quiet and we are enjoying them

This is a great dryer with a good selection of options from delicates to heavy duty and as well as a timed dry option and even an air dry cycle. The drum holds larger loads and will dry loads fairly quickly depending on the heat setting. Typically I use the more dry low setting for the delicate cycle (38 minutes) and add a freshen up or air dry cycle for larger loads to ensure all the clothing has dried. My only complaint is the fact that there is not a light inside the dryer to make getting your laundry out a bit easier especially if you are looking for a specific item in a hurry(to be fair my laundry room has terrible lighting but an internal light would definitely be helpful. I also, kind of wish the door on the dryer matches the washer that pairs with this dryer as the washer has a see through glass top loader door and the dryer has a solid white door. All in all one of the best washer/dryer sets I’ve used in recent years!

New to the LG appliance family. Pros: lots of space, pretty quiet, simple interface. Easy to install and ready to use. Cons: wish it had a light. I would have given it 5 stars but the fact that there is no utility light threw me off. Def would have expected it to come standard.

I like this dryer. It looks very well easy to change a door swing from left to right very quiet and the settings are easy to maneuver between.

So far, this is great. It’s been quiet while drying and it’s been drying in a reasonable amount of time. Worth it!

My son's last two dryers caught on fire. Yes, twice! I wanted to replace it with a better unit preventing user error. This one has a flow sensor and shuts off if it senses a clog. He thought he cleaned the vent but after installing the dryer it shut off during the first use. He cleaned the vent again and now it works perfectly. Also, this unit is able to vent on the right which eliminated the need for a long duct which was a contributer to the clogging. This thing could be a life saver!

Good dryer for the money. Energy saver settings don't dry clothes completely but there's a few manual settings that work great!

Yeah, new laundry machines!! This dryer will take some finessing, i had the auto on and the clothes were still slightly damp. When i did the other load by time it was perfect!! I do have to mention that i had asked to put the dryer door opening on the other side. I was quoted $70!! The guys were still here! Doesn’t that seem a bit ridiculous? The guys that installed everything were so very nice too!!

Design Flaw with Drawstrings – Disappointing Experience I’ve been a loyal LG customer for years and had a positive experience with their washer and dryer lineup—until I purchased the LG DLG6101W gas dryer in April 2025 as a replacement for our previous LG unit. The Issue From the very first cycle, we noticed a recurring problem: any clothing item with a drawstring (e.g., sweatpants, hoodies, gym shorts) would emerge from the dryer with the drawstring severely twisted and bunched inside the waistband. After some investigation, we discovered that the tip of the drawstring gets caught between the lint trap and the drum, causing it to twist tightly during the cycle. This makes the garments uncomfortable and sometimes unwearable. LG Support Experience To LG’s credit, their online chat support was initially responsive. We scheduled two service appointments and received a replacement part. Unfortunately, none of these efforts resolved the issue. LG’s recommended workaround was to use mesh laundry bags for any items with drawstrings. While this helps, it’s not a practical long-term solution—especially when items occasionally get missed and end up damaged. Had I known this dryer required mesh bags for common clothing items, I would not have chosen this model. Escalation & Follow-Up I requested a product replacement or alternative resolution, and my case was escalated. I was told I’d receive a response within 24–48 hours, but weeks have passed with no meaningful follow-up. Despite multiple attempts to reconnect, I’ve received inconsistent communication and no resolution. Final Thoughts This dryer may work well for basic loads, but if your household includes athletic wear, loungewear, or kids’ clothing with drawstrings, I strongly recommend considering another model. The design flaw and lack of long-term support have been disappointing.

I love it because it’s so simple to use and works perfectly. It leaves the clothes really dry.

We bought a New GAS dryer for our daughter for Mothers Day. From the time we walked into the store all the way thru delivery the process was painless and perfect. Our sales person was professional, had great ideas and suggestions and helped in setting up the delivery that would support the surprise for our daughter. The delivery team we also professional arriving on time, clean and extremely efficient, working magic getting the unit in the door with ease. We always have been happy with all of our experiences with Best Buy and always recommend them to friends and family.

Dryer work very well and dry very fast, quite than the old style one.

Lets start with poor installation. The installer from best buy connected the vent kit exactly how the owners manual said not to! Instead of going directly from the dryer to the outside vent, he snaked the venting up 3 feet and back down 3 feet instead of cutting the excess out. Not good for exhaust, lint build up or anything. My wife and I had to pull out the dryer and cut the vent kit down so it would be a straight shot. So, F for installation. The door was the wrong way and I asked if he could reverse the door and he said "no". So I had to flip it myself. So much for the little "niceties". No light in the drum. Have to run all drying cycles on heavy duty cause regular doesn't totalling dry the load. Overall not satisfied with product or installation. Would not recommend and will never buy LG dryer again.

Love that this dryer has many drying options I use the wrinkle free button with permanent press cycle I love the choice of how hot I want to use too The chime it makes is nice It’s loud enough for me to hear so I can get to my laundry once dried

The LG dryer I bought was gas, With superior performance, it’s ranked first class! Its color is white, And is approximately 44” in height. With features like moisture sense, This dryer performs without any nonsense. The door opens 2 ways, A design that’s really appreciated these days. I love its extra large size, And the fact that it’s easy on the eyes!

Our gas dryer after 11 years was on the way out, so we needed to replace it quick. Bestbuy was amazing as always and recommended this unit. So far so good!

with all the interaction between the phone calls, the texts, the emails for installation the guys showed up and couldn’t install the dryer first time around. ( they could not move the washing machine in order to install the new dryer )We ended up buying a washing machine they showed up installed washer /dryer..then yesterday there was an issue with moisture on the ground. Turns out that the dryer vent wasn’t installed so the hot air was just blowing into the back of the unit. the dryer Vet hose came out of the outside vet housing and was blowing on the ground behind the dryer

My new LG Gas Dryer is the perfect match for my LG washer. It is easy to use and quiet when in use. It dries my laundry well.
