It’s new on the market and I’ve only ran a few loads with it but so far I like it. I’ve only used no frills dryers in the past so its nice to have so many options like this one has. To me, it’s quiet, has been efficient in drying and looks nice and clean. I love that it has an interior light and a reversible door. My only issue so far is that I don’t like that the main, middle knob is harder to turn than the smaller knobs. 4 stars because its still sooo new and because of the middle knob.

This is a great dryer for a small family. Very spacious and works very quietly. Easy to use the features on the machine.

Love it so far. Would give it a five-star rating, but the end of cycle signal is not very loud. Great size, easy controls.

My first order was delivered on 6/4. We used this machine for two days and noticed that the clothes weren't totally dry. We tested. We run the dryer in full heat for 80 min, and clothes weren't dry. We run another 80 min and still not totally dry. I felt heat inside, but it was not working. I contacted Best Buy and requested them to send someone for investigation. They offered return and replace instead. I agreed and waited for two days to exchange the unit. After installation of the new one, I run the normal cycle with a load of wash. The new unit was working fine. I did not have to use full heat, nor timed dry. I run the regular running cycle. I am sure the first unit was defective. I was reading the review and noticed that someone else had the same issue. Run it for 80 min but not dry. I assume it is a good machine as long as it is not defective, although, if multiple people had the same issue, it is not a quality product. I rated three stars with mixed feeling. If I received a good unit at my first delivery, I probably would have rated it 4 or 5 stars. Knowing there are defective products out there, I can not give it more than 3 stars. The manufacturer should collect what they had shipped to Best Buy and re-test each unit. Defective units should not be out there wasting people's time.

Simple function, just the right technology I want, it does dry up the clothes and the alarm can be adjusted to low or loud volume. Hopefully, it will last longer than the high tech. dryer.

Great dryer. Replacement for a 20 year old Sears Kenmore. I am pleased. Great customer service and installation. I'm spoiled by the old school Kenmore. I am hoping this GE will last a while. I always buy a warranty because you never know what may happen. Things that can be improved.. The timer knob has a lot of tension. That may be an issue to anyone with hand strength issues. The door has to be slammed to close. I think that needs to be changed as it would also cause a person with strength issues a problem.

Still learning to use dryer. Seems to be a little slower and smaller than my previous dryer.

I’m trying this brand in washers and dryers for the first time. Not necessarily a fan I doesn’t dry some of my garments like what I’m use to. Not really user friendly. I like that the lint trap is not so deep 4 my kids.

I wanted a basic dryer at a great price and this fit the bill! It was easy to install on my own and and worked great since I received it. I saw some people complain that it was loud and it seemed like a problem for some people. It might be slightly louder then other dryers I have had in the past but nothing that would really bother me, also it is in my basement so it really isn't a issue for me regardless.

It works good, as expected. Its nice to have dry clothes again.

If you like the old school machines with a little upgrade this is the machine! Uncomplicated, nice looking and works wonderfully. Couldn't be happier

About what I expected, being "open box" and all. I just had to take apart & bang out the dents. Works fine.

The last NEW Dryer I bought was in 1991!!! That lasted 17 yrs, a GE. Since then I bought my sister’s set, she was moving out of State & my daughter gave me her set, when she bought new ones. So that Washer was finally non-repairable. Now time for me to get a NEW set. Went with GE & I love it. I am 73 yes old & always stick with GE appliances!!! As did my Mom!♥️

I’m really happy with my new dryer. I love the fact that it is bigger than my old dryer. The guys that delivered it made sure that it was working correctly before leaving. It was quick and easy.

filter screen is in front and not the backside. It is much smaller and packs full every cycle

Works well. Gets the job done and fast. I only wish the door felt more sturdy.
