Very Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed.Do not buy this GoPro. Have had it for almost 3 months and it’s not worth it at all. It constantly overheats, corrupts the files, freezes, turns off by itself and stays on a loading loop forever. Very disappointing to have beautiful footage after one day of riding a bike to see all the footage lost and the camera doesn’t connect to the app any longer. Also battery life is horrendous, horrible the worst battery in electronics that I ever used. Just turning on the camera and leaving it on for 5 minutes drains about 10% of the battery not to mention how hot it gets. Piece of crap do not buy GoPro Hero8 Black. Can’t even reset this crap without freezing.

Posted .Highly recommend this GoPro Hero8 Black 4K camera. This was my first venture with GoPro. Traveled to England and Scotland on vacation and took a combined 400 photos and videos. The stabilization is unbelievable. My videos looked like they were shot from a drone. No overheating problems on this model.

Bought this for a trip our family took and for the older kids to use. They loved the creativity they came up with in using time laps and under water shots! Bought when the price was ridiculously low, not worth the full retail or minimal discount (would have returned it otherwise).

- A:Answer The battery is horrendous. The camera can record in 4K in 60fps but never even tried it because just recording 1080p at 60fps only lasts about 30 to 45 minutes. Horrendous horrendous battery life not to mention how hot it gets, I can just imagine in 4K at 60fps only lasting about 10 minutes not to mention how most likely will overheat and turn off automatically

- A:Answer The videos you shoot on a GoPro camera are saved as standard mp4 format video files, so they can be edited, saved, stored, etc. just like nearly any other video files. There are a number of software programs available here on this site that you can buy and use to create a DVD from your video files. Note that you will also need a DVD burner drive connected to your computer. If you don't have that drive or aren't sure how to do it, several drugstore chains and large retail stores offer a DVD creation service as well. They can take the videos directly from your SD memory card and make a DVD for you.

- A:Answer You can see the shot before you start recording, but once the recording starts, it will not display a live feed to your phone. You would be able to view clips after they are recorded though.
