Insta360 - X3 5.7K 360 Degree Action Camera - Black

The Insta360 X3 has completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I turned it on, I was blown away by the incredible 5.7K 360° video quality. The ability to capture everything around me means I never have to worry about missing the perfect shot again. Instead of focusing on where to point the camera, I can simply enjoy the moment and choose the best angle afterward. The stabilization is phenomenal. Whether I'm hiking, biking, traveling, or just chasing my kids around the park, the footage comes out incredibly smooth and professional-looking without needing bulky equipment. The invisible selfie stick effect is one of my favorite features—it creates cinematic shots that honestly look like they were filmed with a drone. Editing is surprisingly easy with the Insta360 app. Reframing videos, creating unique perspectives, and sharing directly to social media takes just minutes. The image quality is crisp, the colors are vibrant, and the camera performs impressively even in changing conditions. What really makes the X3 stand out is its versatility. It's compact enough to take anywhere, durable enough for adventures, and powerful enough to produce content that looks like it was created by a professional. Whether you're a traveler, content creator, sports enthusiast, or simply someone who loves preserving memories in a unique way, this camera delivers. If you're thinking about buying an action camera, stop comparing and get the Insta360 X3. It's more than just a camera—it's an entirely new way to capture life's best moments. Every adventure becomes more exciting, every memory feels more immersive, and every video tells a story you'll actually want to watch again and again. Without a doubt, this has been one of the best tech purchases I've ever made.

The Insta360 X3 is hands-down one of the most versatile and creative cameras I’ve ever used. If you’re someone who loves capturing experiences, traveling, adventuring, or creating content on the move, this camera opens up possibilities that simply aren’t possible with traditional cameras. It truly makes impossible shots easy, and that alone sets it apart. What makes the Insta360 X3 so powerful is how much it can do in one compact device. You’re not constantly worrying about framing, angles, or missing the moment—because you can capture everything at once and decide later. That freedom completely changes how you shoot. Whether you’re walking through a city, riding a motorbike, hiking, snorkeling, or filming everyday moments, the X3 lets you stay present while still getting cinematic results. The 360° capture is where the magic happens. Shots that would normally require a drone, a second person, or multiple takes become effortless. Smooth follow shots, third-person perspectives, over-the-shoulder angles, and perfectly framed social media clips are all possible from a single clip. It’s a creative cheat code. You can turn one shot into dozens of usable angles, which is incredibly valuable for content creators and travelers alike. Stabilization is excellent. Even while moving, walking, or filming action, the footage comes out smooth and professional-looking. It’s perfect for travel where conditions aren’t always controlled. The camera handles motion, uneven terrain, and fast-paced environments with ease, making it great for both casual users and serious creators. Durability is another huge win. The Insta360 X3 feels solid, well-built, and travel-ready. It’s waterproof, compact, and easy to pack, which makes it ideal for overseas travel and adventure filming. You don’t feel like you’re carrying fragile gear—you feel confident taking it anywhere. The software and app experience are surprisingly strong. Editing is intuitive, powerful, and beginner-friendly while still offering depth for more advanced creators. Reframing, tracking, and exporting content for different platforms is fast and efficient. The AI-assisted tools save time and help turn raw footage into polished content without needing complex editing setups. What really stands out is how great it is all around. It’s not just a niche 360 camera—it works for travel vlogs, action sports, family memories, social media, behind-the-scenes content, and creative storytelling. Whether you’re shooting for fun or building a brand, the Insta360 X3 adapts to your style and needs. Overall, the Insta360 X3 is one of those rare cameras that genuinely expands what’s possible. It simplifies complex shots, encourages creativity, and delivers consistently impressive results in a small, travel-friendly package. If you want a camera that keeps up with your adventures and helps you capture moments in ways you never could before, this one is absolutely worth it.

The X3's high-resolution photos, responsive controls, smooth app connection, and excellent stabilization have drastically shortened my post-capture processing times and provided me with useable digital assets straight from the camera. Every detail is captured by the camera's 18-megapixel sensor and 5.7K resolution. The 360-degree capabilities of the Insta360 X3 give my projects a new angle. The Insta360 app's built-in editing and control tools allow me to create visually spectacular digital assets. Exposure, color, and effects may all be tweaked with this app. Compared to videos shot without FlowState stabilization, stabilized ones look much more professional. Due to the Insta360 X3's small size and lightweight, I can easily carry it around and use it whenever I need to. Usually, I keep it in my front pocket. It's easy to use because of its simplistic design and controls. The versatility of the camera is enhanced by its compatibility with a variety of mounts and attachments. I can attach it to my rover (Remote Control car with mount) drone or invisible stick and tripod. Planning and packing extra batteries hasn't changed the experience, you may need them for longer shoots. Depending on how I shoot that day, I can plug in a portable battery pack, which gives me longer uninterrupted shooting time. The Insta360 X3 has been an indispensable tool for recording and distributing my 360 photos and videos. As a side note- I also have a Ricoh Theta Z1, but my Insta360's are my go-to cameras.

The durability and portability of this camera make it a perfect companion for any adventure. Whether hiking in the mountains, exploring new cities, or simply capturing moments at home, this camera delivers consistently outstanding results. Moreover, the battery life pleasantly surprised me; it lasts through extended shooting sessions without any hassle. The build quality feels solid, assuring me of its reliability for long-term use. Overall, this 360 camera has revolutionized the way I document and share experiences. Its exceptional performance, user-friendly interface, durability, and portability make it an absolute must-have for anyone passionate about capturing life's moments in stunning, immersive detail. I wholeheartedly give it five stars without any hesitation!

This camera has to be the best 360° camera on the market. At least until GoPro release the Max2. Editing your footage using the insta360 app is very simple and easy! Using this camera is fun and allows you guys to tell a story using this camera in a pretty fun way. If you haven't (I am sure you have) checked out the hundreds of YouTube videos on this camera get to it. You can make videos while leaving this camera on a tripod and with the insta360 app you can have the footage follow you as you do whatever. I mean I can go on and on but this review would be super long. I have made a few videos using this camera if you want to check it out my YouTube channel name is 'Jonasegway'. If you are thinking about getting this camera but have any questions, you could send me a message on YouTube and I'll get back to you almost immediately and if your question warrants a detailed answer in a video format, I got you! There are a good amount of accessories I would recommend if you have an extra $50-$250 laying around for splurging depending on what you are looking to do with this camera. Any questions? Find me on YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat. Jonasegway is my name on all platforms! P.S please understand although these cameras are super fun and facilities the ease of use for making fun content, their lenses must be protected/and or cared for delicately. If you get even a small scratch, your footage will show it and it WILL be sorta ruined. There are lens covers that I would recommend using when you can. These lenses are replaceable but only if you do it yourself. Insta360 offers a service to replace your lens but the cost is almost ¾th the price you will pay purchasing this camera so please please please handle this camera with care but don't forget to have fun. I would say keep your lens covers on at all times until you are ready to begin recording!
