Customer Ratings & Reviews

The Insta360 X3 has completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I turned it on, I was blown away by the incredible 5.7K 360° video quality. The ability to capture everything around me means I never have to worry about missing the perfect shot again. Instead of focusing on where to point the camera, I can simply enjoy the moment and choose the best angle afterward. The stabilization is phenomenal. Whether I'm hiking, biking, traveling, or just chasing my kids around the park, the footage comes out incredibly smooth and professional-looking without needing bulky equipment. The invisible selfie stick effect is one of my favorite features—it creates cinematic shots that honestly look like they were filmed with a drone. Editing is surprisingly easy with the Insta360 app. Reframing videos, creating unique perspectives, and sharing directly to social media takes just minutes. The image quality is crisp, the colors are vibrant, and the camera performs impressively even in changing conditions. What really makes the X3 stand out is its versatility. It's compact enough to take anywhere, durable enough for adventures, and powerful enough to produce content that looks like it was created by a professional. Whether you're a traveler, content creator, sports enthusiast, or simply someone who loves preserving memories in a unique way, this camera delivers. If you're thinking about buying an action camera, stop comparing and get the Insta360 X3. It's more than just a camera—it's an entirely new way to capture life's best moments. Every adventure becomes more exciting, every memory feels more immersive, and every video tells a story you'll actually want to watch again and again. Without a doubt, this has been one of the best tech purchases I've ever made.

The Insta360 X3 is hands-down one of the most versatile and creative cameras I’ve ever used. If you’re someone who loves capturing experiences, traveling, adventuring, or creating content on the move, this camera opens up possibilities that simply aren’t possible with traditional cameras. It truly makes impossible shots easy, and that alone sets it apart. What makes the Insta360 X3 so powerful is how much it can do in one compact device. You’re not constantly worrying about framing, angles, or missing the moment—because you can capture everything at once and decide later. That freedom completely changes how you shoot. Whether you’re walking through a city, riding a motorbike, hiking, snorkeling, or filming everyday moments, the X3 lets you stay present while still getting cinematic results. The 360° capture is where the magic happens. Shots that would normally require a drone, a second person, or multiple takes become effortless. Smooth follow shots, third-person perspectives, over-the-shoulder angles, and perfectly framed social media clips are all possible from a single clip. It’s a creative cheat code. You can turn one shot into dozens of usable angles, which is incredibly valuable for content creators and travelers alike. Stabilization is excellent. Even while moving, walking, or filming action, the footage comes out smooth and professional-looking. It’s perfect for travel where conditions aren’t always controlled. The camera handles motion, uneven terrain, and fast-paced environments with ease, making it great for both casual users and serious creators. Durability is another huge win. The Insta360 X3 feels solid, well-built, and travel-ready. It’s waterproof, compact, and easy to pack, which makes it ideal for overseas travel and adventure filming. You don’t feel like you’re carrying fragile gear—you feel confident taking it anywhere. The software and app experience are surprisingly strong. Editing is intuitive, powerful, and beginner-friendly while still offering depth for more advanced creators. Reframing, tracking, and exporting content for different platforms is fast and efficient. The AI-assisted tools save time and help turn raw footage into polished content without needing complex editing setups. What really stands out is how great it is all around. It’s not just a niche 360 camera—it works for travel vlogs, action sports, family memories, social media, behind-the-scenes content, and creative storytelling. Whether you’re shooting for fun or building a brand, the Insta360 X3 adapts to your style and needs. Overall, the Insta360 X3 is one of those rare cameras that genuinely expands what’s possible. It simplifies complex shots, encourages creativity, and delivers consistently impressive results in a small, travel-friendly package. If you want a camera that keeps up with your adventures and helps you capture moments in ways you never could before, this one is absolutely worth it.

The X3's high-resolution photos, responsive controls, smooth app connection, and excellent stabilization have drastically shortened my post-capture processing times and provided me with useable digital assets straight from the camera. Every detail is captured by the camera's 18-megapixel sensor and 5.7K resolution. The 360-degree capabilities of the Insta360 X3 give my projects a new angle. The Insta360 app's built-in editing and control tools allow me to create visually spectacular digital assets. Exposure, color, and effects may all be tweaked with this app. Compared to videos shot without FlowState stabilization, stabilized ones look much more professional. Due to the Insta360 X3's small size and lightweight, I can easily carry it around and use it whenever I need to. Usually, I keep it in my front pocket. It's easy to use because of its simplistic design and controls. The versatility of the camera is enhanced by its compatibility with a variety of mounts and attachments. I can attach it to my rover (Remote Control car with mount) drone or invisible stick and tripod. Planning and packing extra batteries hasn't changed the experience, you may need them for longer shoots. Depending on how I shoot that day, I can plug in a portable battery pack, which gives me longer uninterrupted shooting time. The Insta360 X3 has been an indispensable tool for recording and distributing my 360 photos and videos. As a side note- I also have a Ricoh Theta Z1, but my Insta360's are my go-to cameras.

I recently purchased insta 360 camera and it has truly exceeded my expectations! This device is an absolute game-changer. The quality of the images and videos it produces is nothing short of breathtaking. From scenic landscapes to bustling city streets, this camera captures it all with astonishing clarity and detail. The ease of use is another remarkable aspect. Setting it up and operating it was a breeze, even for a newcomer like me to 360 technology. The accompanying app is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing for seamless connectivity and quick sharing of my immersive content with friends and family. The durability and portability of this camera make it a perfect companion for any adventure. Whether hiking in the mountains, exploring new cities, or simply capturing moments at home, this camera delivers consistently outstanding results. Moreover, the battery life pleasantly surprised me; it lasts through extended shooting sessions without any hassle. The build quality feels solid, assuring me of its reliability for long-term use. Overall, this 360 camera has revolutionized the way I document and share experiences. Its exceptional performance, user-friendly interface, durability, and portability make it an absolute must-have for anyone passionate about capturing life's moments in stunning, immersive detail. I wholeheartedly give it five stars without any hesitation!

This camera has to be the best 360° camera on the market. At least until GoPro release the Max2. Editing your footage using the insta360 app is very simple and easy! Using this camera is fun and allows you guys to tell a story using this camera in a pretty fun way. If you haven't (I am sure you have) checked out the hundreds of YouTube videos on this camera get to it. You can make videos while leaving this camera on a tripod and with the insta360 app you can have the footage follow you as you do whatever. I mean I can go on and on but this review would be super long. I have made a few videos using this camera if you want to check it out my YouTube channel name is 'Jonasegway'. If you are thinking about getting this camera but have any questions, you could send me a message on YouTube and I'll get back to you almost immediately and if your question warrants a detailed answer in a video format, I got you! There are a good amount of accessories I would recommend if you have an extra $50-$250 laying around for splurging depending on what you are looking to do with this camera. Any questions? Find me on YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat. Jonasegway is my name on all platforms! P.S please understand although these cameras are super fun and facilities the ease of use for making fun content, their lenses must be protected/and or cared for delicately. If you get even a small scratch, your footage will show it and it WILL be sorta ruined. There are lens covers that I would recommend using when you can. These lenses are replaceable but only if you do it yourself. Insta360 offers a service to replace your lens but the cost is almost ¾th the price you will pay purchasing this camera so please please please handle this camera with care but don't forget to have fun. I would say keep your lens covers on at all times until you are ready to begin recording!

Really nice camera, used to capture my happy moments and to make memories when I was traveling on Colorado, really good quality, real tuff because it fell from my hand and nothing happened to it, really loved it and the easy way that it is to edit on the app!!

wonderful camera, safe to use around water 360° view easy upload lightweight, small easy to use awesome product!

Great quality video and easy use can’t complain read before you buy because it’s exactly what it says it is a great product!

Amazing! I use the camera for high speed rollerblading videos with no issues. Phenomenal camera quality with the ability to edit out the selfie stick. The reliable mic makes it better. The various angles and mode you can record allows for a myriad of unique perspectives. Be sure to get an SD Card, lens protecters and selfie/tripod as they do not come with the camera.

Awesome devise, i have it mounted on my Harley Davidson and we all know how is the vibration on this motorcycle is :) the video is clear and the quality is excellent. the software is dummy proof, you can have a beginner edit or a pro make a full movie from their application,

This camera is simply fantastic, the image quality and the backup of Insta360 make the workflow simple and with infinite possibilities to create new creative concepts, add a cage to my camera to easily adapt some accessories and give it a little additional protection without affecting the image and the sewing of the 360 photos.

Gets a little warm after riding but easy to use, great picture.

It's almost a month since I bought this camera. I bought for a trip to Disney. The interface is very intuitive. It took me less than 10 mins to start recording for the first time. My favorite feature is time shift mode nad 360 video mode. You don't need the Mobile app to record but to edit and reframe the app is a must. There's also a free desktop software for editing. Both the app and the desktop version are very easy to get used to. The camera works great with sunlight or very illuminated areas. If you use it inside with very low light the video has a lot of noise but it's expected for the 1/2 inc sensor. If you're going to record in low light environments I recommend the 1 inch version. If that's not a problem for then the camera is 100% worth it.

What a great concept. What I love: *The 360 view is amazing. Being able to pan around the image and see in front, in back, to the side. essentially, you were capturing so much and just one shot *It’s a super cool gadget I love that you can edit in the app as well as preview the images you’ve captured there’s lots of creativity as well as a bit of a learning curve. * Camera is relatively small and compact. Although a bit heavy (Considering it’s small size) Things I don’t love… *Seems like you have to buy a lot of accessories. Definitely need to buy extra batteries, different selfie sticks, depending on images you need to capture. * because of the 360 view, it’s hard to get a close image of say the sea life I was hoping to capture. * Images can be distorted because of the 360 view But the worst part…. * This is a waterproof camera… but beware: my camera leaked!! My images are lost on my SD card!! Even though I was very careful to make sure the battery door was definitely closed - it still leaked! This camera needs some serious improvement. I would suggest getting the Invisable Dive Case (extra $100!) Which I did purchase and it worked pretty good (still some distortion on the images) But at least it didn’t leak! The second vacation, I did not have the case handy and thought it would be OK (which it’s supposed to be) to just use underwater snorkeling. Unfortunately, it leaked!

This camera is an awesome alternative to a gopro for motorcyles. The app is real easy to use and has a bunch of features to use. Downside of the app is that the camera has to stay on the whole time while in the app and can really drain your phone and camera battery.

Good product, produces quality 360 videos. But files do often get lost or corrupted. And the device overheats easily, even on a motorcycle. Better to record at less than max res/fps.

Compact, versatile, captures moments brilliantly. Recommended.

every angle of the shots is very beautiful and worth it. I will definitely buy it again when the time comes because you will not regret it because it is durable and very good to use. you can really enjoy it after you finish using and watching every shot of insta260. 100% recommended

Best purchase by for and enjoying all the features. Quality of vidros and optoons to use AI is perfect for my drives!

Outstanding camera. Bought specifically for a YouTube video to do the "tiny planet" effect. Very versatile camera too. A lot of utility and easy to figure out the software on both the phone and computer. Whether it's for action shots or something more experimental this camera delivers.
