Great affordable TV!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this Tv for about A month and a half now and it works great! I really wanted a TV for my room that I could cast to from my phone or be able to download apps on the TV in general so I could be able to watch other shows that aren’t on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, or Disney. I’ve used the fire stick before and it’s great for downloading apps and I just personally enjoy it more than Roku too. Although since this TV already comes with it installed now I can cast and/or just download what I need! The only problem I had with this Purchase was when my remote disconnected from it, but it was a really quick fix anyways. I have not had any other problems with it since then :). The quality is pretty great too! It’s definitely a good buy if you’re looking for something cheaper and of good quality! I’ve never had an insignia TV so I was skeptical about buying it or a Samsung one knowing it was gonna cost me more. Really glad I chose the more affordable option

Decent tv
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up was easy and quick. The color is also decent. I really like the convenience of switching from different streamings & free to add streaming stations. The tv programming I feel needs works, if the tv is left idle for 5mins it turns off( good for some people I get it). The remote has been a pain since the 1st week I purchased, from the loud clicking of changing the channel to the batteries that is already going dead ( but the tv do make you aware that the batteries needs to be changed out). Overall I think it was a good purchase.

So nice I bought it twice!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to finally get a TV for my bedroom after waking up in the living room once too often. This TV was so packed with cool tech. that I returned it - for the same TV in 50". The BT remote ( not RF so it works without having to point it at the TV) with the built-in mic, the picture quality... It could use a sleep-timer dedicated button on the remote but there's one in the menu.

Garage gym
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Added this to my garage gym, and I am very satisfied with the picture quality, ease of use and speed of refresh rate, use the apps for bike ride videos and workouts, have this connected to an older vizio soundbar and it is more than adequate

Insignia™ - 39" Class LED HD Smart Fire TV Edition
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy with the purchase I made. I would recommend this product to anyone purchasing an alternative tv for their home. The Insignia™ - 39" Class LED HD Smart Fire TV Edition TV is performing at my level of expectation. I have been using it daily for about a month and the only issue has been finding a tv antenna, it is not connected to cable or satellite.

Don't Let the Price Fool You
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Insignia 39-inch TV is a budget-friendly option for those in the market for a new television. However, it falls short in several areas. One of the main issues with this TV is its slow software. Navigating the menu and channel surfing can be frustratingly slow, making the overall viewing experience less enjoyable. Additionally, the picture quality is not great, even for the price point. Colors appear washed out and lack vibrancy, and the viewing angles are not very wide. This makes it difficult to enjoy movies or sports with a group of people, as everyone will not have a good view. Another issue is the sound quality, which is average at best. You will need to invest in a separate sound system to get the best audio experience. Overall, while the Insignia 39-inch TV may be a budget-friendly option, it ultimately falls short in performance and features. You may want to consider spending a little more for a better quality TV with faster software and better picture and sound quality.

Screen cast and Mirroring not an option
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like it. Perfect for my studio workouts. Only downside is it doesn’t have mirroring. Original idea was to screencast my Peloton workouts (new Bootcamp classes) for when I got off my bike. But can’t. Silly that I have to install another Fire TV stick to make it to work versus using the built in.

Q: QuestionWhat is the actual width including the stand? I can't go over 35 inches. Can the Stand be reversed to save space if needed?
Asked by DR.
- A:Answer The screen width is 35 inches. The stand cannot be adjusted. You could try to use the TV stand model NS-HTMS1, the footprint of this center stand is 26 inches to save space.

Q: QuestionOk, so I need an external antenna for over-the-air channels. My daughter is sending me a fire stick that she's not using. Will it be a good choice? Or should I get an antenna that is JUST an antenna?
Asked by brlasonny913.
- A:Answer Yes, you need an antenna to watch over-the-air broadcasts from local channels. You don't need a Fire TV Stick because this TV has the Fire OS already built-in.

Q: QuestionCan this tv be use with a hdtv atenna if I don’t have cable
Asked by Fran15.
- A:Answer yes but don't go out searching for an HDTV antenna.....The HD part is in the tuner of your tv. Remember when the signal changed and all the old tvs had to get a converter. All over the air signals are broadcast in HD....HD antenna is basically a deception....If you're within decent range a $50 antenna from Walmart will bring in pictures better than any cable signal. I assure you.

Q: QuestionIs this a smart tv? Will I be able to watch Netflix etc?
Asked by Kathyabu.
- A:Answer Yes, it's a smart TV (Amazon Fire) and you can watch Netflix as well as Hulu and Prime. There are buttons for all of those and HBO on the included Insignia remote.

Q: QuestionI have Xfinity. When I turn on the TV, I have to select the HDMI port in order to watch cable. I find this to be annoying. Is there a way to have my cable provider be the default (instead of the TV home page) when I turn on the TV? Considering returning.
Asked by momof3.
- A:Answer Try the Power On feature, when enabled, the TV turns on displaying the last used input. To activate it, go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input.

Q: QuestionCan I download spectrum app on this tv to stream or do I need a roku tv
Asked by Tasmarie.
- A:Answer Spectrum has an Android app and this being an android operating system there should be no issues downloading that app. I would not chose a Roku tv over this tv. I would not chose a Roku device over a Firestick either. It's like apples and oranges when it comes to available content. I say this because I own several of both devices. Hope this helped.
