I bought it but returned it because you lose the outlet with this. And you don’t know how much you need them until they are not there. So I bought another that has the outlet and the connections for usb

This USB hub charges my devices perfectly fine. It's an added bonus that it is a surge protector, and will protect all of my low-voltage electronics. Just be aware that this outlet is 3.6A max, and some devices require more amps in order to charge properly.

Great addition if you have a convient spot for it. Easy to install and have working in a short time. Simple hook up just like replacing a wall plug. Will take longer to install if your adding it in new. I just replaced an existing wall plug that wasn't used near my kitchen table. Seems to work good.

Okay so here we have the greatest outlet you could get yourself. It is very easy to install , it has great positive and negative placements. The only thing I don't like is the ground point kind of limits the size of housing you can get for it. Other than this extremely small point.... excellent for all my charging needs.

This hub was fantastic for my home office. Many of my electronics need to be charged quite often. It was great to have the capacity to charge the devices but have them protected from damage with the surge protection when we had a blackout. The white color matched the color scheme in the room.

This is a great product, easy to install and works for all my needs. The only con would be that the LED light is really bright. II you are installing it in a bedroom beware at night it may be uncomfortable to sleep for those who like a dark room. I dim it by placing a small white sticker over the light, you still see it but it isn't glaring.

The unit can charge 2 usb items very quickly. It's convenient to have these in your wall so you don't have to look for adapters. If you don't have too many ac outlets in your room then I would suggest the unit that has 2 usb chargers + 2 ac outlets on the same device.

Not difficult to install, functions and looks great. Once installed, it's a great product and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Looks good as well.
A:Hi GJ,
There is a difference between surge protection and overload protection. Overload protection, which is what this device has, will disconnect the load (trip the breaker) if the total current exceeds the individual (or combined) outlet rating (in this case 15 amps per outlet). If you have any questions or concerns, please use the link below to reach us and also you can contact this phone number 877-467-4289 for further assistance.

A:While it can be a slave to another outlet with GFI circuitry (typically one GFI will protect more than one outlet in newer homes), it does not replace the GFI function.
A:Like a TV, it "uses" a very small amount of electricity to power a small LED all the time, but this is actually to help it use up less energy after things are unplugged, and to indicate that the surge protector is working. I'd say the energy slip is pretty negligible though. Probably uses less energy than your lights and ceiling fans use in a few minutes.
A:The more important question is what is the clamping voltage and is proper surge protection wired in.
Clamping voltage is 500V which is not great and it only has L-N protection, which is very limited.
