Love this washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this washer and matching dryer for Christmas. Love it so far. It's just the two if us so the size is perfect. Got the stacker bracket and had it mounted as a stacker unit. Love that. This washer has so many options I haven't tried them all yet. Easy to understand controls.

Absolute Junk - plastic water drum broke
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a disaster product. The plastic drum cracked internally and causes leakage. The machine is just 20 months old and has been perfectly leveled and operated. Absolute junk. Don't buy!!

Excellent washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Couldn't have been happier with this machine. It gets clothes clean, the capacity is far bigger, I found, than stated. It's efficient in terms of both water and electricity usage, and is relatively quiet.

Outstanding front load washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This replaced a Maytag Neptune front load from 2001, it holds much more! it is very quiet, being on the 2nd floor of the house that is important. Only really noticeable when in the higher speed spin cycle, yet still very acceptable. The cycle times per wash if using many features can be lengthy, but given the large capacity this is not an issue for my use. Very simple to use. I am very pleased with this purchase.

A great washer, exactly what we needed!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband and I searched high and low for a good washer. We did a lot of research and talked to a lot of different appliance stores. Because of the previous reviews (both personal and online), we decided on this machine and are absolutely thrilled with it. Great cycles, I especially love that we can fit all of our bedding (comforters included) into it. Removes pet hair easily too, which was a must for us having a dog that unfortunately sheds quite a lot. We also really like how energy efficient it is. It measures out just the right amount of water to put into each load through it's sensor. We waited a few months before we wrote this review to make sure everything was functioning well, and it is. Overall, we are very pleased with this washing machine.

Great washer for family of 5
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We replaced our older model front load machine about a month ago. The technology has definitely improved over the years! For the same size machine, I can now wash much larger loads with less water and everything comes out clean and soap free. Also, the spin cycle is so efficient that my old dryer doesn't have to run as long to get everything dry. Very happy with all the cycle choices and the steam function. And everyone in the family loves the little tunes it plays when turning on/off or signaling the end of the cycle. No more annoying buzzer!

Really happy with our new washer and dryer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really happy with our new washer and dryer; our previous unit was small and loud; we used to feel like we were doing laundry all the time - and the house felt like it was in final launch sequence; now we get all of our laundry done in less than half the time and it's a really quiet unit; haven't yet tried the steam function but looking forward to it; worth waiting for the sale price - and the the 'end of cycle' signals are cute

Perfect washer for all needs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven't tried all the cycles yet but the ones that I have used let us cut down our total laundry time and made for an easy process. Great size tub, low water use and good cleaning action as well as easy selection of cycles. The washer senses things so fewer water level adjustments needed. Wonderful washer.

Q: QuestionWhat are the dimensions of front load washers and dryers? Trying to design a laundry room.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer First of all I want to say, it's great that you are asking us about the dimensions before you start building your new laundry closet :) Washer (WxHxD) 27" x 38 11/16" x 29 3/4" (51" D with door open) DLEX2650W electric dryer 27" x 38 11/16" x 29 3/4" DLGX2651W gas dryer 27" x 38 11/16" x 29 3/4" So all the laundry units have the same (WxHxD), but VERY important is to leave extra space for clearance! Each unit needs AT LEAST: 1" on each side 5" in the back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you. We appreciate your feedback, please give us a “thumbs up” if this answer is helpful to you; and please let us know if we can assist you with anything else. Have a lovely weekend and good look with your new home project!

Q: QuestionHave to manually drain water??In researching new washers, we have run across several people complaining about the need to manually drain water from the unit. I've read comments saying it needs to be done monthly, others saying much more frequently. For example, a review on Consumer Reports wrote: "The Achilles heel of this technological marvel is you have to DRAIN WATER AFTER EVERY CYCE TO AVOID MOLD. On the lower Left on the front of the washer is the drain pump filter cap. You have to open it, unclip a small black drain hose and remove the plug to drain remaining water. I measured 3 CUPS OF WATER for each load. Keep a small container to drain the water into. I did not buy the bottom drawer, so it involves bending down, seniors beware. OK, I'll do it to avoid mold, but DRAINING WATER is one of the highest priority features. Water should drain out of the washer automatically! " Can someone clarify this for me? Is it something that needs to be done routinely? And if so, how often?
Asked by JeffV64.
- A:Answer I have not hear of that before and you shouldn't have to drain it manually every time you use it. The lint filter needs to be cleaned regularly (depends on how often you use the machine), but otherwise no manual draining should be necessary. After every wash, please leave the door ajar so the moist air can escape. Q: QuestionAre 34" total depth for the washer/dryer enough?I see in other postings that you ask for an additional 5" meaning I'm 3/4" short. Will that be a problem to install the washer/dryer? I plan to have them stacked.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer From rear wall to outside rim of washer/dryer is 35", that includes rear hook ups and dryer vent. Good luck......

Q: QuestionHow do I properly drain the hose/filter at the bottom of washer?I tried to drain it and when I removed the filter, water came pouring out all over my floor. Yet the tube appeared empty.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Make sure the end of the drain tube is lower than the level of the washer. I used a shallow bowl to collect the water. It took several minutes to drain when I wanted to check the filter.
