I have not hear of that before and you shouldn't have to drain it manually every time you use it. The lint filter needs to be cleaned regularly (depends on how often you use the machine), but otherwise no manual draining should be necessary. After every wash, please leave the door ajar so the moist air can escape. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't have to drain water after each cycle. You only have to drain the water if you are going to clean the lint filter (inside small door near bottom front of washer). This can be done monthly or whenever the washer indicates it needs cleaning. I have done it once per month (only takes a few minutes) and I have yet to even find anything in the lint filter. The only thing you must do is wipe the door seals thoroughly after each wash to ensure that bacteria and mold doesn't fester and turn your washer into a smelly mess. Also, run the tub clean cycle once a month or so using a cup of vinegar or a cup of bleach. Hope this helps!
