“Can someone please tell me how my son can play Fortnite on this laptop? He downloaded this game last night and it was running slow. Apparently our internet server said it’s not compatible with this device? Suggestions, pls. Thx”

Thank you for your question. This model may be able to run a game like Fortnite but you would not have the best experience. In order to really have fun playing the game you need at least 30 FPS, 60 would be even better. The best performance would be had with either a desktop or a gaming laptop which has a Dedicated GPU, an Intel i5 and 8GB or greater. If you want to play Fortnite on this model you will have to go into the settings and set everything to low and slide the 3d resolution slider all the way to the bottom. At that point you may be able to get around 20 FPS but the game will not look very good and the low FPS will put your son at a disadvantage against other players.
