A:AnswerYes I’m pretty sure it would cover that as long as they don’t determine it was misused ,dropped & tv was used in normal conditions & environment..sounds like a manufacture defect.. I would also call the geek squad hotline & ask them too,. since you already need to call them to set up a appt for repair but do it quick since you are already in the 2nd year of extended Warrenty .
