A:AnswerIt certain;y should be unless it's stated in the warranty that it's not or if they determine someone used something caustic like acetone on the surface.
A:AnswerI wish I knew why they don't offer it like that, but I compare extended warranty periods from L*wes and H8me Depot and appliance lifetimes (usually 3 years), and find that 5 years is practical. I didn't see the need for a Total Tech/GS membership, so we purchased the 5 year extended warranties on our appliances instead of the recurring monthly membership.
A:AnswerLook first to the manufacturer's warrantee for the glass top. It will definitely need to be replaced unless you do not intend to ever use that particular burner.
These glass tops are tough, but not indestructible. Check out the Geek squad directly for current advice on what your plan covers.
A:AnswerGood luck with that, I had a microwave convection combo delivered with the tray broken and it had a warranty so we called to let best buy know and tried to get somebody to get back to us, no one did, we're still waiting, it's been years now and we just got ignored! Hey best buy we're still waiting!!!

A:AnswerI would call Best Buy and return it immediately. I think there is a 15 day return window. If it is beyond that and you have Geek Squad call and have them come fix it. If not, you may have to go through the manufacturer warranty. Wondering if it is an install issue though??
