QuestionI have a tv with 2 hdmi ports: 1 for cable, 1 for old apple tv. I want to stream disney+ via my iPad and need additional port so I dont have to keep unplugging my apple tv. Will this switcher do the trick?

- Answer I have 4 different devices hooked up thru this switch that feeds my one HDMI port on my TV. Works fine for me. The remote makes it very convenient to choose desired port/device you want to use

QuestionI broke the coaxial piece off from the back of my Vizio TV where my incoming cable line screws into. . Can I screw the cable wire into this box and then use an HDMI from this box out to the HDMI port on the TV so that I can get the cable signal?

- Answer It has 4 HDMI INPUTS (from a computer or other video device), and 1 HDMI OUTPUT (to the TV or Monitor). 4 computers to one monitor you'd be good to go. Otherwise, I don't think so.

QuestionI have an hdmi switch. It worked fine for a while after I got it, but now if I try to a different port, it immediately returns to the first port input slot. I tried to rearrange the cables to no success and now I can’t get any signal at all. help me.

- Answer keep it plugin turn off power till no lights on then unplug it now hard part dont use it for awhile try holding out for 30 minutes when plug it in try using your devices hmdi control on/off features it work for me

- Answer Will need to add an hdmi switch if you do not have enough ports. I used the Rockfish 4 port hdmi switch.

- Answer It depends on the TV. Newer TVs it is more likely to. Even if it does not it comes with a little remote already with a battery.

- Answer Make sure you’re all HDMI connections are secure to each location they’re going into. Might be a loose connection somewhere.

QuestionI have a Rocketfish 4-port HDMI Selector. I have port one for the tv and port 2 for Amazon Fire Stick. When I stitch to port 2 it goes back to port 1. No matter which port I choose it goes right back to one. Why is this happening?

- Answer I ran into a problem with it when I tried putting the Dish receiver on the 4 port connector. The dish receiver is always transmitting a screen saver. I suspect that you're having a similar problem with whatever is on port 1, so it's always automatically switching back to port 1. I had to put the Dish receiver directly to the TV at HDMI 1, then used the TV's HDMI two for the 4 port connector, and hooked up the Reviever, Fire TV, and Apple TV to the 4 port connector.

- Answer I had the same problem. I switched the Fire Stick (4K) to a direct TV input and moved what was using the TV input to the switch and that solved that problem. I don't know what the problem is with a Fire Stick. A Roku stick (non-4K) did work thru the switch.
