Why would you not want to use your wood studs? They are there for support and to mount things to, such as your TV. Especially with a swivel mount. I had them mount my 75" TV with a swivel/extending mount and they installed it into the studs. That is the way to go.

You would probably have to call them to see if they can do it another way.
