The brightest setting is the same level of light a 75 watt energy saver twisty bulb puts off and when dimmed it's about like a 30 watt regular bulb. In other words they can be very bright or very dim depending on what you want.

10 Watts is not much.  The average cell phone charger pulls about 10 watts.  Clock radios can be 10 to 50 pending on the functions.  A DVD player will use around 15.

60 watts or 800 lumens. At full white setting they do give off plenty of light. Advanced features in the apps aren't there even though company has been promising them for months and months.
