If you're connected to wifi, you can use this device to access the "google.com/maps" URL via the browser. In that case, it works the exact same as if you were using a normal laptop / desktop. There is no dedicated maps app in the Chrome store, and the Chromebook doesn't have any GPS or cell (3G / LTE) capabilities. In short, it won't work anywhere a regular laptop wouldn't unless you tether it to a smartphone / mobile hotspot.
