Go in to settings, then scroll down to advanced settings. Click on that and scroll all the way down to Powerwash. Click on that and it resets the Chromebook to it's original settings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My previous answer to this question was not entirely accurate, but there is no way to edit it now. For the full software restore, Andrew's answer was correct - go to advanced settings, scroll to the very bottom, and click the "Powerwash" button. I apologize for any confusion the other update may have caused.

To complete a reset, head to the settings (click on the clock and select "Settings"), and use the search box at the top to search on the phrase "restore". The search should result in an option called "Reset Settings". Click the button and the machine will be reset to the way you received it out of the box. Concerning the hardware, the only item I recall being included with the Chromebook was the power supply. The power supply is two cables - one with the power brick, and one that plugs into the wall itself. You'll want to be sure you return both. I can't entirely answer your question concerning whether you'll get your money back. That will depend entirely on when the Chromebook was purchased, what level (if any) you have as a MyBestBuy member, and the condition of the device itself. I'd recommend searching the web for "Best Buy Return Policy" and reading through the resulting web pages. Something I can mention is that Best Buy doesn't seem to charge a restocking fee for Chromebooks.
