I spent about a week trying to come up with an answer to this question before ultimately buying the BestBuy model (which does, definitely, have an IPS screen that I really enjoy). What I was able to learn was that all of the CB5-571 models are the same. The last four characters seem to only be used to differentiate the re-sellers of the devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The -C1DZ is an LCD type display whereas the C4G4 is an LED type. This info was confirmed during a conversation I had with an Acer sales rep.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no difference that I can see. They both have the same 15.6" Full HD IPS Active Matrix TFT Color LCD with LED backlight. The only difference on the Acer website is the Wireless LAN Standard. I expect this is just a typo b/c wi-fi cards are almost always backwards compatible. The wi-fi card is dual-band so you definitely want to use the 5GHz band to maximize throughput on the 802.11ac standard. You will also want a dual-band Wireless-AC router to take advantage of the 3x faster speed over Wireless-N C1DZ - IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac C4G4 - IEEE 802.11ac
