“I have bad internet issues but have a nano sim card with 4g unlimited data. I have seen laptops that can use this for internet just by inserting it in a tray with a normal SD card. Can I do that with this laptop or do I need a normal connection?”

Acer has not tested a SIM card with this laptop because it does not have a slot for a SIM card. You might though post your question on the Acer Community where there are many users that post questions and offer help and advice on Acer products. The link is: https://community.acer.com/
