“My phone connects to the cars Wi-Fi hotspot. If I'm using Android auto through this device which data stream does it use, the Wi-Fi hotspot or does it connect to the 5G T-Mobile (wireless provider)? Would prefer that it stresm data via my Wi-Fi hotspot.”

• Make sure to connect your phone to the adapter via Bluetooth. You should not have to use your WIFI on your phone.

• It’s blutooth connection nothing to do with your wifi hotspot.
