Customer Ratings & Reviews

This is a very solid option for wireless Apple Car Play. I haven't tried the Android auto but I'm guessing that is solid as well as this device has good reviews overall. As with any tech related gear these days, experiences may vary, so I figured I'd throw mine in for good measure. It connects every time, pretty quickly. I haven't timed it but I'm guessing within 10 seconds or so (by the time you're settled and ready to enter a route etc). I have a case or two where it seemed to take a little longer on a loading screen but that could also be my vehicle infotainment system / electronics, (it has crashed and glitched a time or two) and experiences vary there as well. Once connected it stays connected so no issues there that I can recall. Audio does not seem to be degraded over bluetooth but I don't listen to a lot of music. Bottom line is this solution works very well and is a good option for a discreet and affordable wireless adapter. Thanks Best Buy, and thanks Aluratek!

Absolutely Worth It — Makes Every Drive Better! I’ve been using the Aluratek Wireless Car Adapter for a while now, and it has completely transformed my driving experience. Setup was incredibly simple—just plug it in, pair once, and it connects automatically every time I start the car. No more fumbling with cables or waiting for my phone to recognize the system. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto run flawlessly, which is perfect for households with different devices. The connection is fast, stable, and responsive, with virtually no lag when switching apps, taking calls, or navigating with Google Maps or Apple Maps. Music streaming is smooth, and voice commands work just as well as they do when wired. I also love how compact the device is—clean look, no extra clutter, and it blends perfectly with the car interior. For the convenience it adds, this adapter is easily one of the best tech upgrades I’ve made to my vehicle. If you want to make your car instantly feel more modern and cable-free, the Aluratek adapter is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

Aluratek’s Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless carplay adapter is a great product. It connects quickly and without any lag. I’ve had it for a couple of days now, and I don’t have to use my iPhone charger to connect it to my radio anymore. I just turn on my car, and the Apple CarPlay connects instantly. I don’t know how long the audio will play before it disconnects, but it feels like it connects really fast. However, there was one issue where it didn’t connect at all when I got in my car. I had to unplug it and plug it back in. That’s the only downside, but hopefully it doesn’t happen again. Now, let’s talk about the price. I feel like this could have been a bit cheaper, maybe around $35 instead of $60. For that price, you should expect wireless CarPlay to work without any issues. Another thing I noticed is that I don’t have to turn on my car for my Apple CarPlay to connect. I can open the door, sit down, and it will still connect and play music while I’m turning on the car. I don’t think it’s a big deal, but it’s just a little strange for me. Overall, I’m really impressed with this product. I highly recommend it. You should definitely go pick it up, or if you can find something a bit cheaper, do so.

Have been using this Android Auto Adaptor for a few weeks now and it works great! Setup is very easy and the lag is minimal, it's just the regular Bluetooth lag, that even existed when the phone was wired to the car. It does come with an USB to USB-C extension in case yhe care takes USB-C only instead. The only thing is questioning myself, why I didn’t made this purchase sooner!

Got this for my 5th gen RAV4 and it works great! I plugged it into the car’s USB port, pair it with my phone, and now every time I start the car it automatically goes to wireless CarPlay within 30-60 seconds. Color accuracy and sound are great. It’s also small and black so no one really notices it.

I needed a device that would allow me to listen to my Apple CarPlay on my Kenwood car stereo without any external wiring to my I-phone. Installation was a quick and easy. However, I notice that sometimes I loose connectivity and it takes approximately 2 minutes to reconnect, th happens weekly . Overlooking that minor issue it works great.

Love this adapter. I have two vehicles that are not wireless to connect to Android Auto. So I bought one of these to try it and see if it does what it says in the advertisement. IT DOES!! So, I just ordered a second one for my other car. The only drawback is that you do still have to plug in your phone if it needs charging. But, for me that's not that often. As long as you have two ports to plug in to you can leave the adapter in. As you can see in the photo, I plugged in a car charger for when i do have to charge my phone.

Works really good I was very impressed with how simple it was to set up and once it was set up it didn’t lag or anything I would definitely recommend

It is perfect for what I needed it for. The gentleman that helped me picked this is knowledgeable.

Works great. Been using for over a month now. I would again.

Connects quickly with no problems and never lags!!!

So great not to have the cord! Connects automatically.

This is the best Apple CarPlay adapter I have ever used!!! Stay away from the cheap Amazon knock offs and get this one!! It’s worth the little extra and is still very reasonably priced, especially with all the offered features and customer support!

Connecting this is super easy and straightforward but the good parts of this device end there. Connection constantly is cutting in and out. It reminds me of listening to FM radio or if you ever tried running with a portable CD player/Walkman when you were younger. When you DO get a solid connection, there is about a 1-2 second audio delay. So streaming YouTube/videos/mlvies is a no go unless audio sync is not an issue for you. Contacted Aluratek after going through their troubleshoot guide online, they had me do the same steps again as the website. Then just all together stopped messaging me back once confirmed the device still was having the same issues. I've tried BOTH products listed in the picture. First one was for my iphone, had the same issues with it as this one for Android. Thought it may just be an Apple issue. so when I upgraded to my Fold 7, I got this one for it..same issues. And Aluratek will just stop responding to your emails after awhile because they don't want to replace/refund I'm guessing because they know how bad it is. I'd recommend staying FAR away from these products, save your time and money

This Adapter is An Amazing Product Very easy to Use It’s Just Plug n Play Love It!!!!

I had a great experienc at the store today, great customer service, super friendly and knowledgable .. i will definetly be coming back !!!

Easy to install and very convenient, a significant Apple CarPlay upgrade

Works half the time and shuts off in the middles of conversations and music

I’ve been using this Wireless Car Adapter for a little while now, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Setup was quick and painless—just plug it into the USB port, connect once, and it works seamlessly every time after that. The best part is the convenience: no more fumbling with cords every time I get in the car. Apple CarPlay connects instantly and runs smoothly without any lag. Navigation, music, and calls all work flawlessly, and the audio quality is excellent. The compact size is a bonus—it doesn’t clutter up the dashboard, and I hardly notice it’s there. It really feels like my car’s system got an instant upgrade without needing to replace the car for the newer one. Excellent quality!

The Aluratek Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Wireless Adapter is a total game-changer! Setup was super easy plug it in once, and it connects automatically every time. No more messy cables or fumbling with my phone. The wireless connection is fast, audio is crystal clear, and both CarPlay and Android Auto work flawlessly. It feels like I upgraded my entire infotainment system for a fraction of the cost! Compact, sleek, and reliable. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a smoother, smarter drive. Thanks, Best Buy, for such an amazing find!
