Have been using this Android Auto Adaptor for a few weeks now and it works great! Setup is very easy and the lag is minimal, it's just the regular Bluetooth lag, that even existed when the phone was wired to the car. It does come with an USB to USB-C extension in case yhe care takes USB-C only instead. The only thing is questioning myself, why I didn’t made this purchase sooner!

Aluratek’s Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless carplay adapter is a great product. It connects quickly and without any lag. I’ve had it for a couple of days now, and I don’t have to use my iPhone charger to connect it to my radio anymore. I just turn on my car, and the Apple CarPlay connects instantly. I don’t know how long the audio will play before it disconnects, but it feels like it connects really fast. However, there was one issue where it didn’t connect at all when I got in my car. I had to unplug it and plug it back in. That’s the only downside, but hopefully it doesn’t happen again. Now, let’s talk about the price. I feel like this could have been a bit cheaper, maybe around $35 instead of $60. For that price, you should expect wireless CarPlay to work without any issues. Another thing I noticed is that I don’t have to turn on my car for my Apple CarPlay to connect. I can open the door, sit down, and it will still connect and play music while I’m turning on the car. I don’t think it’s a big deal, but it’s just a little strange for me. Overall, I’m really impressed with this product. I highly recommend it. You should definitely go pick it up, or if you can find something a bit cheaper, do so.

Love this adapter. I have two vehicles that are not wireless to connect to Android Auto. So I bought one of these to try it and see if it does what it says in the advertisement. IT DOES!! So, I just ordered a second one for my other car. The only drawback is that you do still have to plug in your phone if it needs charging. But, for me that's not that often. As long as you have two ports to plug in to you can leave the adapter in. As you can see in the photo, I plugged in a car charger for when i do have to charge my phone.

I needed a device that would allow me to listen to my Apple CarPlay on my Kenwood car stereo without any external wiring to my I-phone. Installation was a quick and easy. However, I notice that sometimes I loose connectivity and it takes approximately 2 minutes to reconnect, th happens weekly . Overlooking that minor issue it works great.

Connecting this is super easy and straightforward but the good parts of this device end there. Connection constantly is cutting in and out. It reminds me of listening to FM radio or if you ever tried running with a portable CD player/Walkman when you were younger. When you DO get a solid connection, there is about a 1-2 second audio delay. So streaming YouTube/videos/mlvies is a no go unless audio sync is not an issue for you. Contacted Aluratek after going through their troubleshoot guide online, they had me do the same steps again as the website. Then just all together stopped messaging me back once confirmed the device still was having the same issues. I've tried BOTH products listed in the picture. First one was for my iphone, had the same issues with it as this one for Android. Thought it may just be an Apple issue. so when I upgraded to my Fold 7, I got this one for it..same issues. And Aluratek will just stop responding to your emails after awhile because they don't want to replace/refund I'm guessing because they know how bad it is. I'd recommend staying FAR away from these products, save your time and money

This is the best Apple CarPlay adapter I have ever used!!! Stay away from the cheap Amazon knock offs and get this one!! It’s worth the little extra and is still very reasonably priced, especially with all the offered features and customer support!

I purchased this product because in order to use car play in my car I used to have to plug my phone into the USB with a cord every time I got in my car and remember to unplug my phone when getting out of my car. After numerous times forgetting to unplug my phone and accidentally leaving it in the car when running in somewhere real quick I ordered this product so that I could have wireless CarPlay and it honestly couldn’t have been any simpler. Once the product arrived I took it out of the box, plugged it into my USB, and connected my phone to it via Bluetooth. No other set up was required no apps to download just plug and pair. Now whenever I enter my car it automatically connects and provides me with wireless CarPlay no need to ever take my phone out of my purse or worry about remembering to unplug/plug in my phone. Super convenient and very easy to set up.

This device worked perfectly and was really easy to connect to my phone via bluetooth. I did not notice any lag different from connecting with a cord. The size of the device was also perfect for my vehicle. I would recommend to anyone that wants a wireless option for Android Auto.

I own several wireless adapters, each working with some success on either Apple Car Play or Android Auto. This one caught my eye at the right time- I had been using an iPhone and switched to an Android phone, and I wanted to enjoy a wireless connection with my new phone. This device is the size of a small thumb drive. I have native wired Apple Car Play and Android Auto in my 2023 Toyota Camry. Other devices had allowed me to enjoy a wireless connection, but required attaching the device to to the USB-A female connection on my car using a cable. With this device, I could just plug it in directly, pair it over Bluetooth using my phone, and enjoy wireless Android Auto in minutes, no cable required! It had the simplest set up I had ever used, and it has worked flawlessly since installation. It works with both Car Play and Android Auto, but I have not had an iPhone to test its performance on Apple devices. I highly reccomend this adapter!
