It should work really well, but you may have to test the unit. With some car stereos the unit may not come with the icons pre-setup for Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. In those cases the unit sometimes needs the high speed USB connection so the stereo can grab info off the phone. In these cases the Aluratek adapter may not work. So be sure to test things as soon as you get the device.
