- Answer Yes we have multiple Alexa enabled devices throughout our house. We have the Echo Dot, the Echo Spot and the Echo. Some are upstairs while remainder are downstairs. The Echo Spot shows video and can work as an intercom.

- Answer For me, the biggest difference is that the sound quality is *much* better on the Echo 3rd generation. You can actually listen to music on it and not be annoyed by tinny sound and distortions. It sounds even better if you buy a second one and set them up as a stereo pair. I have them set up that way in my home office and I can listen to them for hours without any problems.
