Yes you can announce messages back and forth
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, all you need is at least 2 Amazon Echos in the same household. Go into your Alexa's settings and make sure to name each one, then enable communication for each device. Let's say you named one kitchen, you just say "Alexa drop in on kitchen". Now you have a 2 way intercom. Just make sure to say "Alexa end call" when you're done with the conversation. Otherwise, the intercom will continue listening between the rooms. You can also make announcements through all of you Echo's in the household without the 2 way intercom feature. For example, if you wanted to let everyone know dinner is ready.
