My siblings and I bought this for our 92 yr. old father who is in an Assisted Living facility. He was having trouble hearing us on his flip phone (which is low quality but the only phone he knows how to operate-I tried teaching him to use my iPhone but he couldn’t and asked for his flip phone back). My siblings who live out of town and out of state were having difficulty carrying on a conversation with him. The genius of the Echo is the speaker is so loud and crisp he hears everything we say. He is absolutely thrilled to be able to see them while they talk to him. He is not able to learn any new electronic devices but this drop in feature is wonderful. We just start calling his name and he goes over to the device. He doesn’t have to do anything. The setup was super easy and I was able to download a picture of him and my deceased Mother at the beach for his screensaver and he is over the moon about that. I recommend this product highly. It has made a tremendous difference in our Dad’s quality of life.

My first Echo show I own and is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I can now control my devices from the comfort of my bed without lifting a finger. The feel of it is very comfortable to hold and love the fabric touch! Plus the built in hub is a PLUS cause I don't have to buy a separate hub for my smart lights! I like that I can use my Philip's Hue Lamp with the Echo to control the lighting and colors. Also like the fact it can control my tv and receiver too! If you want to have a smart home I recommend to get this Echo Show! It's really Amazing! Amazon really outdid themselves with this device.

OMG!!!!! Sooooooo I’m in love with the third generation!!! I had the second generation but it’s apples to oranges! You need to make this purchase to see all that it does because I’m telling you right now they thought of everything and it’s well worth the price !!! The rotating base follows you around the room!!! Such an awesome feature if you are video chatting because you do not have to stay in front of the screen, it follows YOU instead. It’s also a cool feature if you ask Alexa to show you a recipe and you are cooking and needing to read the next step. Another example, I asked Alexa to play music by a certain artist (see pic). Not only did it provide the lyrics, but it offers 50 genres under “you may also like” and I’m like OMG WHAT A COOL FEATURE!! You can also add your favorite app accounts! This is a 10” screen and keeps my grand babies quiet for HOURS while I’m working from home!

I have echos all over my house including the first generation Show, but this blows them all away! Superior sound, the bigger display, I love this thing! We use it as a baby monitor with our Nest Cams and the bigger display makes it so much easier to see from across the room. It also works with my Ring Pro Doorbell. I also use SmartThings and have my entire house wired with smart switches. The bass and the sound is such a huge improvement too! Go buy one!

Soo i was very skeptical at purchasing this device but seeing my friends and family have several Alexa devices i decided to jump on board as well. It's very responsive, can play music, make calls, watch Hulu, control other Alexa compatible appliances/electronics like lights,TV, coffee maker, air fryer.. Want Alexa to remind to meditate for 30mins or How about gift ideas..... You can't go wrong with the Echo Show.

Love my echo show! Love the video chatting feature and love playing music on the device. They automatically show the lyrics to the songs. We have used it almost like a karaoke sing along at times.

LOVE THIS DEVICE! Got one for my Mom and one for me. I call her every day on it. She loves the sound and the hands free convenience. She can hear so much better on it than on a regular phone. I recommend it highly if you are quarantined, if you have older family members, if you live long distance from loved ones, or even if you don’t. It’s great for cooking music while in the kitchen or recipes. We’ve watched videos on it, too. Setup was easy and we connected to contacts in phone for easy calling. So glad we purchased this, wish we had gotten it sooner!

I own multiple echo show 5 & 8s.. even though the large echo show came out first it definitely sounds louder and more crisp. You are paying for the 10 inch screen but works all the same. Thanks Amazon and Best Buy

Absolutely love the 2nd Gen Echo Show. It has a larger screen & improved sound. I have multiple Echo Shows & they complete my Smart Home Setup. I have all of my Echo’s set up for whole house audio playing Amazon Music. Definitely recommend if your looking for a Smart Speaker with a screen!

It's an Echo device with a nice large screen. It allows to watch video from the internet and from security cameras, interact with Ring, etc. Loud and clear sound. It was on sale for a great price and included an echo Dot and a hue bulb.

I got the Echo Show 2nd gen charcoal when it was on sale on Father's Day and I got a free Echo Dot and a Philips Hue white bulb! What a deal from Best Buy! I use Echo Show in my bedroom to turn on/off lights and to play music. I set my routines in Alexa app so when I say "Alexa, good night", it turns the light off and plays pop music for sleeping. It has a brilliant screen, it displays lyrics and the font size is big enough so you can see the lyrics in a long distance. It also has a motion sensor and only turns the screen on when you're around and in stand by mode when you are not so it saves energy. I use the Echo Dot in the kitchen to play music when I'm cooking. The AI assistants make my life much easier.

I purchased 2 of them so my Fiancee could video chat with her daughter who lives in San Diego, CA as her daughter has a daughter now and she can't see her that often or her granddaughter and they're always doing Facetime on their small screen iPhones and when I seen that, I decided to get these two a Christmas Gift and they love it as much as I do, very easy to set up and if you need assistance call Amazon.

I purchased two of these for Christmas 2020 gifts - one for my mother and one for my boyfriend. My mom and I can now communicate via them through the drop in feature, which I love! I also love that you can add photos from your phone to be the background on the echo show. I’m very glad I got this 10” larger size rather than the 5” or 8” because it makes the display easier to see from afar when reading recipes and cooking in the kitchen. Love this device!

I got this for Christmas so I'm still learning everything it can do; but so far, I love it. I haven't tried using it to call family, but will be trying that soon. I enjoy using it for my flash briefings and weather report every morning and have also enjoyed using when cooking and following along on a recipe on the Show. It works well with our Ring doorbell and our Blink security camera too. I bought the stand to go with it so that it's protected should anything get spilled since it lives on the kitchen counter.

A birthday gift for my wife, who is still getting used to the technology. I on the other hand, I enjoy the nuances of voice-controlled smart house features. As long as it doesn't eaves·drop and inadvertantly notify someone of a private conversation, I'm happy with it! Also, the sound quality is great.

I really love this little gadget next to my bed. It does all kinds of stuff like wakes you up softly, plays video's and music, can search the internet and all kinds of stuff. I love it.

I bought this Alexa Show so that I could have better control of my smart devices. The things you can do with this Alexa Show are endless.
