“I bought two echo show 2nd gens for a friend, one for her and one for her daughter so my friend can see her grandchild. I know they can video call but would my friend be able to play any interactive games thru the available skills with her grand-child”

Yes! And Echo Show can read stories to your friend's child, show kid-friendly programs, and so much more. We gave them to our grandchildren for Christmas so they can have them for their children. Look for Skills for kids ... by age.
