• Yes, it is an echo with a video screen. This device can show video normally and from devices like Ring doorbell camera's. It's great bedside and can be used as an alarm clock and has a very nice auto dimming feature

• Unfortunately it must be plugged into a power source I can’t wait for the wireless version to be created

• Yes, but you also have to get it on the WiFi using instructions on the touchscreen. Set up is pretty straightforward.
