• Definitely yes. It may even put the words on the screen, but I haven't tried that. It will do everything other echo product and more.

• The Echo and Alexa support Hoopla Digital, which allows library patrons to check out audio books. I usually use the Hoopla app on my Android phone to check out audio books, then play them both on the phone and through an Echo. Playing on an Echo requires enabling the Hoopla skill on Alexa. The skill is limited, but works with a little patience. Saying, "Alexa, ask Hoopla to list titles" brings back a list of titles checked out with an option of playing after each title. The only aggravation is that Amazon and the Hoopla app on my phone don't sync very well.
