- Answer Does he have internet service? Since he does not have a phone, tablet, or computer, it sounds like he may not. In that case, an Echo Show (or any smart device) will not work properly.

- Answer If they have a smart phone (Android or Apple) they can download the Alexa app and use it instead of an actual Alexa device. Example - if you had a Show 5 (or 10 or Spot model) and wanted to video chat with someone, all they need is a smart phone and Alexa app and it would work that way, too.
