• Yes. Both products needs separate registration of product and account. Need amazon Alexa app to configure and add devices. Plus when you want to connect Ring with Alexa then user needs to give account access of Ring to Alexa.

• I don’t think so. When I want to use Ring, I only use the Ring app. I’ve never used them together and have separate passwords for each, so I am not signing into Amazon when I sign in to Ring.
