Depending on how far apart the devices are, their mic can be sensitive enough to pick you up in both rooms or locations. If this is happening, you could go into the Alexa app, select one of the two devices and set one of them to use a different "wake" word.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Fist simple solution is giving two different names (wake word to communicate with Alexa) for both. These option will give user capability of using two echo shows even if sitting next to each other.
