Hello! The Fire HD 8 tablet does not have a glare free screen. If you are looking to read on something that is glare free, I would suggest looking into the Kindle line of products. The Kindles all have glare free screens made to be used to read anywhere, including outside in the sun. I hope that helps answer your question. Have a great day!
